The Elves were Drunk when They Designed this Cane

The Candy Cane glass g-spot vibrator was the first toy in a while that gave me that..."OMG gotta grab that!" feeling. I have wanted to have a vibrating glass toy for a long time. The last and only one I tried, turned out to be an utter failure. But, the shape of this gorgeous glass dildo made me want to celebrate Christmas early this year! The Candy Cane is a stout and girthy g-spot multi-speed and waterproof vibrator. It may not look like much, but the texture is pretty intense and I wouldn't recommend the size or shape for the inexperienced or those who normally have trouble with toys catching their pubic bone. I also can't recommend it for those who need a lot of power. But for those who really like hard, large, and textured toys, you should consider getting this cane for your stocking!

The Candy Cane has very unique glass! I've never seen solid white before. It is gorgeous! The tempered glass makes it less likely to break and more resistant to heat and cold temperatures which makes this toy excellent for temperature play. Glass also has no smell, taste, and it is also completely non-porous. The glass does have a few small imperfections, but nothing that can be felt. Because it is smooth and has no give, it hardly requires lubricant. Spit can do the trick.

There is one red swirl that surrounds the mid section of this vibrator. This thin ribbon of raised glass provides a lot of texture in the form of ribbing. It is very noticeable. This added to rigid nature of glass, should not be thrusted too liberally. I have been one to sometimes not like texture, but this felt very nice if patience was taken.

The solid white color with the red accents, combined with the curve, make this toy have a play on a holiday candy cane. It is about 6 1.4" long and depending on your vaginal comfort, is up to 5" insertable. If you insert it that far, you might find it is hard to hold onto however. The circumference varies from about 4" to 5 1/2". The widest point is a bit much for a toy that has no give. If you can normally handle toys that are 5 1/2" but are of softer materials, you might want to reconsider this. The curve at the top is about a 45 degree angle to the shaft which thickens in the middle. There is no flared base so this is not suitable for anal penetration but is designed for vaginal play. The end of the curve can be used to pinpoint clitoral stimulation, the toy can be inserted, or the toy can be rubbed externally to get stimulation for the ribbing.

The battery compartment unscrews from the bottom to insert a single AA battery. There is a silicone push button on the end that has a number 3 printed on it. This lets you know that there are three speeds to choose from. The Doc Johnson logo is nicely printed on the side of the end cap.

The overall size is moderate and wouldn't take up too much space for travel. Glass is heavier than most materials, so it probably isn't best for a purse. Glass is mess free when traveling or storing since it doesn't collect dust and is not sensitive to temperatures.

The Candy Cane has three steady speeds of vibration. It is actually not all that loud for a glass toy. I was pleasantly surprised. It MIGHT be heard through a door on the highest level if you don't have it in inserted, but other than that, you don't really need to worry. The vibrations can be felt through out the toy but feel strongest about two thirds up the toy and in the tip. The button on the bottom is really easy to push and is comfortable to use.

1. The first speed is low but decent for warm up if you don't require super strong vibrations.
2. The second speed is moderate and adequate for me to finish with clitorally, but it took a long time.
3. The last speed is fairly strong and felt great internally. None of the levels are strong enough to produce a fast orgasm for me and I am fairly sensitive to vibration. It wouldn't be great for those who need lots of power.

The thing I did not like is that when pressing the button, the speed doesn't automatically go to the next level without skipping a beat. Instead it pauses and stops vibrating when the button is depressed. It resumes when you let go. If you are mid orgasm or close, this might disrupt your arousal.

The Candy Cane is waterproof too! Careful in a porcelain tub though! It can be very slippery when wet or covered in lube. You would not want to drop this since it is pretty heavy. It would likely chip itself of the tub/tile. It does work well in water though. It passed both my shower and tub test and no water seeped past the o-ring seal it has at the base.

Tempered glass does not break as easily as not tempered because it is treated to withstand extreme temperatures. It is also more resistant to shattering, chipping, or cracking. Because the base is plastic, it cannot be boiled even though it is waterproof. You can clean it by washing with hot water and anti-bacterial soap. You don't have to make sure it is fragrance free since this material is non-porous. You can dip the glass part in a 10% bleach and water solution to sterilize. Any kind of lubricant can be used and not much is needed even. To store, place it in a padded toy pouch or back in the box.

The packaging is super cute and festive for the Christmas holiday. It is a plastic case that has green, red, and white graphics on it. Since it is clear, the toy can be seen through the front pane. It makes for a very nice gift! The back has information about the toy and the side has information about the company and contacts. The toy sits in a plastic tray that comes out so it prevent sit from being knocked around. It is very appropriate for storage.

Sigh. I guess I've done one too many kegels because this toy would not fit in me. I blame the g-spot curve and my pubic bone. It was painful to insert more than half the way so I could only half feel the swirled texture. It could be a bit abrasive if thrusted too fast. But slowly, it felt great. I love the wight of this toy even if I can't fit it in all the way. I also tried to flip the curve down, but I couldn't get it in me that way either. So, if you have problems with your pubic bone catching hard and or large toys, this isn't going to be great for you. I am giving it 3 stars because it is made really well, I did have a clitoral orgasm and since my g-spot is shallow (only a few inches in) I got g-spot stimulation. It isn't very strong in vibrations and the design makes it difficult for me to insert this fully.
