I opened the discreet box it arrived in and inside was a plain white box that had the frisky lix inside. In front, under the ridges, there is one button. It is both the power button and the button to change modes. Hold the button to turn on/off and just press to switch through the modes. The remote pretty much does the same thing except there are 2 buttons. Top is the power button, but can only turn it off and not on so you will have to turn the toy on from the toy itself and not the remote. The bottom button is the button to switch modes.

Since I was a little shook by how I used it the first time, It did take me awhile to want to try it again. But the times after that, I used it with some water-based lube and put the tongue really close to my clit. This orgasm was decent, just not for me. I think it is not for me mostly because I am used to the strong, "I hope my neighbors can't hear me," mind-blowing, and leg-shaking orgasms. However as a beginner I think I would've liked this more.
