The "Madame butterfly 3 wild ride" is designed to be a dildo holder that you straddle and "ride". It has an inflatable pillow, a strap-on belt and 2 attachments. There's one that looks like the picture, a penis shaped dildo with clitoral stimulator on the base, and another that is a little more plug-like that suggests anal use. There is a coated waterproof egg that has 4 speeds. The wild ride is a decent toy for both men and women. It can be used alone or with a partner.

This toy is quite nice in texture. First off, the pillow is quite obviously PVC because as soon as you open the box you notice the "new vinyl" smell (think pool toy or shower curtain). When you open the plastic bag that contains the pillow the odor is quite strong. Personally, I found this smell quite enjoyable, but then again I have a plastic & vinyl fetish. The pillow would appear to be furry by looking at the picture, but it is more "fuzzy", like the flocked topside of an inflatable bed. The dildos themselves are listed as "Anti-Bacterial Sil-a-gel formula." They are very soft to the touch and compress slightly. The odor was very mild, and the toys had virtually no taste after the initial washing. The strap is sturdy vinyl with snaps at one end (to hold the toy) and velcro at the other to hold the strap around the pillow. Last but not least, is the egg, touted as waterproof. It has a soft coating on it and nice vibration. The entire package felt and appeared to be of high quality right out of the box.

The design over-all is pretty good. Inflate the pillow (inflating by mouth wasn't too bad, took only a minute) after attaching your dildo of choice to the strap. Insert the egg into the toy, then wrap the strap around the pillow, straddle it, and go-to-town so to speak. The pillow is kind of big when fully inflated, and with the penis dildo attached to it is pretty tall. My partner had to kind of stand and squat, and the whole assembly kept rolling over (the pillow is round) it was kind of humorous to watch her try to hold everything to get into position. But once the toy was inserted, she was able to do the "cowgirl" position to ride. The toy felt nice, and the vibrations were pretty strong from low to high. Because the egg is inserted into the toy the vibrations focus on the vaginal walls versus the clitoral stimulator. The base was not quite long enough for the little nubby to actually reach the clit, this part of the toy is kind of useless. Now the pillow itself, being full of air, doesn't have much weight to it. So a ride it up and down approach is not very effective as the pillow moves with you. Especially if you have strong kegels or are using the anal attachment, the best approach is a good "grind." I found that if you take the egg out of the toy and use it directly on her clit while she rides the toy very effective. This toy would be quite suitable for beginners, but I wouldn't consider it to be very discreet. Except for maybe the pillow by itself.

The overall performance of the toy worked well. As mentioned above the initial approach to the toy can be a little challenging but once inserted it works well and feels nice. The egg vibrates very nicely. The low (#1) speed is a nice hum and the high speed (#4) is really nice! The cord is nice and long too. The controls are push button and easy to get to even with slippery hands. While I did not actually put the egg in the water, it is listed as waterproof. After looking at it pretty closely I think that it would work just fine in the water. The noise level of the vibrations are pretty minimal especially if the egg is inserted in one of the toys.

The care and/or clean up is pretty easy with all pieces of this unit EXCEPT the pillow. The dildos and the egg are easily washed off in warm soapy water and dry easily with a towel. They do not attract fuzz. The insertables themselves are silicone based non-porous material and latex free, so they are compatible with almost any lube. I prefer (once washed and dried) the dusting with a little corn starch and place in plastic bag approach. Now onto the pillow, the one concern I had initially about this pillow is the fact that the box says "Getting the inflatable tube pillow wet is not recommended." Well, my wife is a squirter, so during playtime, the pillow got wet. Afterward, I washed and rinsed it with my handheld shower head. I found it was challenging to do so, and drying it off with a towel is not happening, due to the flocking. I found that if you leave it inflated and let it air dry for a bit, it's fine. Once the pillow and the rest of the "kit" is dry, I found that with the pillow deflated, all of the pieces could fit into a 1 gallon size zip-lock bag, making it pretty easy to store.

The packaging, as with many sex toys, is anything but discreet. It has an attractive topless woman on the box assuming the cowgirl position holding the egg remote. With the usual "our toy is great and here's why" on the front of the box. The side of the box lists the contents and mentions the suggestion about not getting the pillow wet along with the "requires 2 AAA batteries (not included)" mention. There are no instructions in or on the box but with the photo of the girl riding this toy (with a g-string on) makes it pretty clear how to use it. However, inside the box with all of the goodies the manufacturer has provided a patch kit(for the pillow) and inflating instructions. I wouldn't recommend storing everything in the original box, but you could. The box could be easily wrapped as a gift.
