The not so Wavy-G, Revisited

The Loveables #4 is a quiet vibrator designed to stimulate the G-spot; while its curves are not pronounced enough to provide strong pressure, the back of the head may provide some enjoyment to someone sensitive and not enamored of very strong g-spot stimulation.
Published:
Pros
There are bumps on the back of the head for clitoral stimulation; the vibrator is waterproof.
Cons
Vibrations aren't very strong, and the bumps are uncomfortable when inserted.

BMS Enterprises’ Loveables #4 is a middle-of-the-road G-spot vibrator. Its length and thickness are about average – five and a half inches and just over four inches, respectively – and the curve of the head is noticeable without being overly pronounced. The body of the #4 is curved, with a raised swirling pattern to add texture, and the motor is – yes – midway between the head and the base. As a finishing touch, it’s bubblegum pink and has a standard dial base.

Frankly, this vibrator is like a smaller, toned down version of PipeDream’s Wavy G: its curves and the head are less pronounced, and the vibrator is smaller overall. The material is TPR, so it’s quite pliable and has a mild “new tire” smell. Just about every part of the #4 feels average, from its girth to the just this side of inadequate curve and the fact that the vibrations are not concentrated at the tip. In fact, the head of the vibrator was slightly uncomfortable when I first inserted it, as the back of the head has raised bumps. By contrast, I could not feel the pattern on the shaft of the #4 at all.

The #4’s one saving grace is its ability to be used as a clitoral vibe, and the raised bumps actually come in quite handy for that. The angled and flattened back allows the shaft of the vibrator to become a comfortable handle, while the raised bumps provide extra stimulation to the clitoris. Still, due to the location of the motor and the fact that the vibrations are not overly strong, the #4 is not an ideal clitoral vibrator, either. Fortunately, its sound level matches its strength, so more sensitive users may find this a good, quiet vibrator.

In short, the Loveables #4 is average, average, and more average. It performs adequately but not well, and because it takes just two AAA batteries, its vibrations are not strong or varied enough to make up for this. Being made of TPR, this vibrator can be used with water-based or silicone lubricants, but cannot be sterilized. The raised patterns on the vibrator pose little in the way of cleaning trouble.

I see that this toy is waterproof from the specs page. Did you test this feature, and if so, how waterproof is it, really? I was assigned the #3 in this series (and still waiting on it to arrive). Did the material smell like anything? What is the difference between the highest and lowest speed of this vibrator? How stiff is the material? Thank you for the review.

I reviewed the #1-- did yours short out at all when pressure was applied bending it one direction slightly? just curious if mine was an exception or if that feature is found in all the toys in the line.

Miss Cinnamon - Water doesn't leak into the battery compartment when the toy is washed or used in the shower; I didn't submerge it as one might in a bath. As mentioned in my review, it smells a bit like a new tire, vibration strength doesn't vary very much, and the material is pliable but not squishy.

Saurou - I didn't have a shorting out problem, no.

    "a mild “new tire” smell"

    good descriptive shorthand.

Hey, if it's mediocre, it's mediocre. Thanks for your take.
