This Little Gal Packs a Punch!

The Quantum is a small, discreet personal vibrator. Because it's only about three inches, or the size of my middle finger, it's most suitable for external use. It's best used as a clitoral vibrator, although you could insert up to the twist-off for the battery compartment (about 2").

Because of its small size, it's best for solo play and its discreet nature makes it perfect for on-the-go stimulation. The Quantum could easily be tucked inside a purse (even a coin purse) or other bag, for use almost anytime or anywhere.

The Quantum is made of smooth, hard plastic, which rates an 8 on the EF safety scale. This means it's non-porous, although you'll want to clean it carefully before sharing, as always. There isn't any texture to this vibe and the hard plastic means there isn't any give; it's very rigid.

The plastic has the advantage that it's both easy to clean and suitable for use with water, oil, or silicone lubes. It also doesn't pick up dirt or dust easily.

The Quantum has a very basic design. It's almost completely round, except for a small indent running the length of the vibrator that I couldn't really feel during use. For me, I found it to be a very comfortable size for clitoral stimulation, but others may find the Quantum too small.



The size and unassuming design have the advantage of making the Quantum discreet. It could probably be left out and most people's eyes would glance over it without it shouting "Sex Toy!" Its size also makes it perfect for travel, though you should remember to remove the battery before packing it away.



I think it's good for beginner and intermediate users alike, or anyone who's looking for a vibe they can take with them. More advanced users might find it to be a little plain but most people will probably be happy with the seven functions it offers.

This vibrator has seven functions: three pulsating choices with pulses at different frequencies, one varying "speed escalating" function, and three standard vibrating functions. The pulsating and speed varying function are at approximately the same intensity as the second vibrating function. While I found the lightest vibration function to be a little weak for me, both the medium and high intensity vibrations are good.

The button, which serves as both the power button and the cycle button, is located at the base of the vibrator. You press it once to start and again to switch through the different settings. Because you are just cycling through settings, there isn't a way to turn it on at your favorite setting; you'll have to click through until you find it again. The button is fairly easy to press with one hand, which means you shouldn't have to stop if you'd like to change settings.

Even with such good vibrations, the Quantum isn't very loud. You could hear it through covers but definitely not through a closed door. You probably could use it in a room with someone else, provided you have covers and some sort of white noise (a fan or an air conditioner, for example).

Because this toy is waterproof, it's fairly easy to clean. The instructions say to clean it with a soft, wet towel, but you could also wash it with warm water and soap. It's plastic, so you don't have to worry about the type of lube you're using or if you're storing it with other toys.

It's suggested that you remove the batteries before cleaning but the vibe has a good seal on the battery compartment, so it's less of an issue. To remove or insert batteries, you just twist the bottom portion off and insert 1 N size battery. It's easy to get the compartment off, but I found I had a bit more difficulty getting it on again because of the way it was designed to get a good seal. The smooth plastic makes it a bit hard to get a good grip to twist it back on.



Like most vibrators, store in a dry place. Remove the batteries before storing to help keep their life.

The Quantum comes in a minimalistic package. It isn't discreet, as it prominently displays the vibrator and uses the word "vibe" multiple times. The box unfolds to be all one piece with a plastic display case. Inside are two small instruction manuals. The box is too flimsy to save for storage, so you're better off putting it in a pouch. If giving this as a gift, you'll definitely want to wrap it in something else.

I really enjoyed using the Quantum. I don't like weak vibrations but I found this to be really fun to use, especially since I most prefer clitoral stimulation. Since I tend to like stronger vibrations, I enjoyed the highest intensity straight vibration the best, but as a runner-up, I liked the variable speed vibration.

I'm pleased that it held up well in the shower and I wasn't worried about the battery getting wet, like I have with some "waterproof" vibrators before.
