The Doc Johnson Smooth G-Spot vibe is designed for G-Spot stimulation, but could also be used to stimulate the clitoris and labia. The bent neck is meant to make hitting the right spot easier during play. I did not have much luck with this toy, and most advanced users would probably feel the same way, as the vibrations are just not strong enough. A first time user or a user seeking very mild stimulation would be a better fit. If you are a physical anomaly and your G-Spot or clitoris is somewhere on your hand, then this guy could be your best friend!

The Smooth G-Spot is made from Velvet Touch ABS Plastic, which is phthalate free and latex free. The handle is smooth and rigid. The head has small dots of texture on it, but they are not defined enough to be felt much during use. Had they been a touch more pronounced, this toy might have been more enjoyable. Users who prefer a highly textured toy should steer clear of this one. It is a much better choice for a newbie or user who does not like texture to their toys. The entirety of the vibe is rigid and non porous. There was no adverse taste, touch or smell to the toy.

This is a fairly compact vibe at 7 1/4" in length (6 1/2" being insertable) and a diameter of 1/2". It is lightweight and feels natural to use. The bulbous head is at an angle and is targeted for G-Spot stimulation. I found the bulb to be on the small side and not quite long enough to work with my anatomy. This is really better suited to a beginning user. Since it is rather small, it is easy to hide or take along for travel. Be sure to remove the batteries before storing or traveling, as the control is very sensitive and easily turned on.

The batteries (2AAA) are inserted at the base of the handle. Make sure the rubber O-Ring is intact before closing the compartment or the vibe will not be waterproof. Once it's all closed up, you can play anywhere from the bed to the shower to the pool. It performed the same in water and out. An easy to operate twist style dial turns the toy on and off and regulates the intensity of the vibrations. The twist control is very sensitive, so keep that in mind when using and when traveling with it. The vibrations produced are very buzzy. They can mainly be felt in the handle of they toy, which also gets quite warm during use. I could barely feel the vibrations in the head of the vibe. The Smooth G-Spot is also on the loud side, so if privacy concerns you, I would look elsewhere. It could be heard through covers, over white noise and possibly through a door. While I had no mechanical complaints with the functions of this toy, I was less than impressed with the G-Spot stimulation it provided.

Care for your Smooth G-Spot is quite simple. Use soap and water, toy wipes or toy cleaner before and after each use. Make sure to get in the groove that connects the head of the toy to the handle, as it can collect fluid residue. It cannot be put in the dishwasher or boiled, but a 10% bleach solution could be used to sanitize it for sharing. When in doubt, use a toy cover or condom. Once you are done playing, you can pop it right back in it's original box. If you need a lubricant with it, choose any that you prefer, just make sure that if you use it with other toys in the same session, that the lubricant is compatible with them all.

The Smooth G-Spot is packaged in a slender plastic box, nestled inside a fitted plastic piece to keep it stable during shipping. It is perfect for storing the toy, and batteries can be kept in the box with it. The box itself is colorful and not discreet. There is basic product information on the back of the box and a small instruction leaflet came packaged inside.

I did not have much luck with this toy, but I think that it does have appeal for other users. It is more for a new user or a user who likes mild, non textured toys.
