Ummm...Doc? Wait, I Found Them All!

This is an all jelly, dotted vibrator that has a fantastic motor and nothing else to recommend suing the Ladybug. My black dots fell out after a few years and I was in a panic until we found them all. If you like jelly, rotating shafts and good vibrations, this may be a toy for you. Just beware the black dots!!

Use

This was the second toy my husband and I purchased. I have had the ladybug for about 6 or 7 years now, and the poor thing has only been used 4 or 5 times. I used it for solo clitoral and penetration sessions and my husband tried using it with me. The jelly was very grippy and hurt during penetration, even with lube.

I liked the little antennaes on the ladybug but the diameter of the shaft was a bit intimidating for a new user. I would try the rotations while penetrating and if the material would have been higher quality and the diameter a bit smaller, this would have been a great toy.

Material / Texture

The material of the shaft and ladybug is jelly. Jelly is one of the least safe materials for sex toys and this one definitely fits the non-safe category. It is porous, hard to clean and too flexible and grippy.

The texture is very grippy, drags to the point of pulling and the black dots are both a bonus and a detriment. The dots feel great when running over your skin, however after about 3 years of sitting in our toy box in a plastic bag, they have fallen off. I didn't notice when I tried this one out again and boy, was the panic on when I realized they were rapidly becoming non-existent!!Luckily for me, they were all found on the bed and in the bag. Whew!!!

Design / Shape / Size

The shaft is penile shaped and the ladybug attachment is about 2" diameter and has 2" antennae that is used for clitoral stimulation while used for penetration. The motor is amazing and would be great in a different, safer toy. The shaft rotates and vibrates, you can set the rotation to fast or slow and the vibrations to fast or slow with a push of a button.

This toy is not for sharing, not discreet in any way and I would not recommend it for travel due to the size and obvious use of this toy.

It is about 9" long, and the diameter graduates from 2"at the base to 1 1/4" at the tip. Only about 5 1/2" is insertable. This is pretty hefty and will tire your wrist after a bit of use. I was not happy with this this item, but would love to see the motor in other, safer toys.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are four buttons on the base which are used for controls. The first two are for rotation speeds, fast and slow & the upper two are vibration levels, high and low. You need to push these once for vibrations and again to shut it off.

There is some confusion as to which button to push if you use the controls without looking. I was happy with the functions, just not the rest of the toy.. The black dots falling out was a definite sign that it is time to toss this one! This was a bit noisy, especially with the rotation and vibration going at the same time.
    • Battery guzzler
    • Multiple settings
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

I washed this vibrator in mild soap and water and cleaned it with a toy cleaner after it was dry. This is a lint magnet, so air dry was recommended. I do not like jelly toys and cannot really do much justice to this toy. I did love the motor. The odor never really did go away, but that is a common issue with jellies.

This was always stored separately in its own plastic zip lock bag and had only water based lube used with it while playing.

THE BLACK DOTS WILL FALL OFF!!!
    • Easy to store
    • Hard to clean
Follow-up commentary
When I lost the recessed black jelly dots on this vibrator it went into the broken toy bin. I am going to try to come up with a fun way to use the motor, maybe do a clone a willy kit and turn it into one hot personal vibe??

I will need some time for thought on this one and will let you know in the forums what the ladybug turned into!!

The dots came out of the holes they are pressed into! Scared the heck out of me, I thought they came out in me.

Aaah! What are the dots made of?

I guess I'm kind of foolish, because I kinda think this is cute, and if it wasn't jelly I might have picked it up for novelty. But, um, if the dots fall off... even jelly users should head for the hills!
