Being a stay at home parent has many benefits. One is getting a lot of quality sex time while the kids are at school. Any parents know that your sex life takes a major beating once your bundles of joy arrive. Sex gets sneakier, quieter, faster, more spontaneous (quick to the basement both kids are napping at the same time and we may only have 10 mins!). Then they get older, nap less, stay up later. The sex window starts to shrink further. I feel pretty lucky that by being at home, and having a husband who works shifts. It allows us the ability to have days alone together. Let’s face it most nights once bedtime comes and the kids are asleep, at least one if not both of us are more interested in zoning into another episode of something because we are already exhausted from the day. Perhaps that is age sneaking up on us.

About a year ago we thought about ways to up the masturbation game for me when I am home alone. We text a lot through out the day and like any good employee, my husband is always thinking about anything else he could be doing if he wasn’t stuck at work. One of those being having sex. So my hunt for a remote controlled vibe began and honestly We Vibe adds are all over the place so we thought, great lets give it a shot. A bit pricey but having something that was app controlled was the most important factor. Without further ado, here is my review of the Jive by We-Vibe.

The ups and downs of the jive. I found the concept and features of this vibe perfect. The charger and charging time was great, honestly I would prefer if the charge lasted longer. It’s about 2 hours and I suppose I am greedy and would have like it longer when using it out and about or as a long period teasing. The vibrations are wonderful. The speeds and variety offer a lot of good choices when using it on my own. It’s wonderfully quiet. Wore it out shopping, and out for lunch and its nice under clothing (I suggest good sound dampening denim). The app is great, I like being able to see the vibrations tempo and intensity. The in app chat program is easy to use and great to keep up a dirty chat when you still need to toggle back and forth to regular life/work things. However, and this could possibly be an issue with my internet provider or our devices. The connection from the jive to my devices (I tried this with my iPhone and iPad). As well my husband lost connection with the device many times when he was controlling it. Both when he was away at work, and when we were together. This was a common problem across various WiFi or LTE connects.
