Licorice stix player - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Poppy

I have always been a fan of Doc Johnson products. This Licorice Stix Player adds that special little something to the idea of a traditional vibrator to make it special. It is extremely user friendly with its easy operation and its comfort which makes it a perfect addition to any girls arsenal of battery operated friends.

Straight out of the box I have to say, I was unimpressed. From first glance the Licorice Stix Player looks like your plain old, everyday vibrator (I would say boring, but is it really possible to have a boring vibrator?). But once I really started checking it out, I realized what makes it special. It has an amazing TPR covering which gives it a soft, gel like feeling. I have to say that it does have a very strong plastic/industrial smell to it at the beginning (worst than most), but that quickly faded. This covering gives the Licorice Stix Played that ultra smooth glide that use girls love. It feels so natural and comfortable rather than some of those other hard, almost clinical vibrators. Another big draw to the Licorice Stix Player is its flexibility. Many vibrators advertise this, but few really deliver. We are talking bending up to 19 degree angles here, way more than any person would really need. This makes even the most complicated positions or situations comfortable and pleasurable.

It is these special attributes which gives the Licorice Stix Player such an amazing feeling. I found the length of 7 inches to be perfect, not over powering but enough to hit all the right spots. I personally found the diameter to be a bit small, I like something with a bit more girth, but it would probably be perfect for most girls. The vibrations are adjusted with a standard dial on the bottom for even more easy operation. There is a large range of speeds however, what I saw at the one downfall to the Licorices Stix Player is that the vibrations are not very strong. It is a very weird sensation; on the higher settings the vibrations feel very fast, but not very strong. If you only need a small amount of vibration to get going (or you are one of the lucky girls who don’t need any!) then this will probable be fine for you. But if you are like me and are an absolute glutton for strong vibrations, then you may be a bit disappointed.

Another important attribute is that the Licorice Stix Player is fully water proof! Now you can take the fun and comfort of this cute little vibrator to whole new worlds. I would also like to point out that this vibrator is NOT very loud! In the description it makes it sound like you are going to have a jackhammer between your legs, but I found it to be on par, if not less than comparable toys.

In the short time I have had this toy, it has become one of my partner's favorites. It is so comfortable and easy to use, that he can easily use it on me while being distracted with other activities. No matter what the position it is comfortable and pleasurable!
