Worthless waste of a toy

The Divine Inspiration is a great idea for a toy, however, the acutual outcome was a complete disaster and a waste of materials. The motor is ridiculously weak and noisy for a sex toy and died after the first use.

Use

The Divine Inspiration is a clitoral stimulation vibrator. It is designed to give both vibrations and rubs from rotations. The rotating tip is safe to insert, but doesn't work when inserted so stick to using on the outside of the body. It could also be used for nipple stimulation. It is not a waterproof toy so do not take this toy into the water.

Material / Texture

The vibrating and rotating tip is made of TPR and the handle is made of plastic. I noticed no smell upon opening the box. The tip has ridges along the outside of the whole egg shape. These ridges are what cause the rubbing sensation when it rotates. The texture is a simple and basic one that is universal for beginners and advanced users alike.
    • No odor
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

The handle part of the toy is black with purple swirls as a design. The entire toy is 7 inches long, but only about 2 1/2 inches are insertable. The shape of the handle makes it fit in the hand comfortably. It is an average sized toy. The design is in no way discreet and would be very obvious if it were to be found by someone.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls are a basic one button on the bottom tip of the handle. Upon pushing the button, the tip begins to vibrate in a solid vibration and the tip rotates as well. All vibrations and rotations are located in the egg shaped tip of the toy. The vibrations are horrible and the motor is so weak that as soon as the toy made contact with my skin, it stopped rotating and vibrating all together. This caused the toy to actually break after the first attempt to use it as the motor died. The noise of the weak motor are very annoying and loud enough to be heard through a closed door. The toy is not waterproof and should not be used in water.
    • Not discreet at all
    • Weak

Care and Maintenance

Due to the toy not being waterproof, it would be best to wipe it down with warm soapy water or a toy cleaner, but do not submerge it in water. It is a very simple toy to clean and just as easy to store. Being made of TPR, it can be used with both water based and silicone lubricants.

Packaging

The toy came in a fancy looking box that has a background of what looks like crystal rocks and script writing with the name of the toy across the front. The front has a magnetically closed flap that you can pull open and see the toy nestled inside the box.
    • Not discreet
    • Recyclable

Experience

I was intrigued when this one showed up in my assignments and was excited to give it a try. I was looking forward to the different sensations. Then I actually got the toy and liberated it from its box, popped in the batteries and fired it up. I was taken aback by the noise of the motor as it turned on, but was still ready to give it a go. As soon as it touched my skin, all vibrations and rotations stopped. No matter how lightly I had it against my skin it just wouldn't keep going. It was such a huge disappointment. Then the motor died from my efforts just to try and let it touch my skin, not even actually using it for what it is supposed to do. Needless to say, I think this one is a major waste of material and my time.
Follow-up commentary
I'm not even bothering to wait the 2 months for the follow-up. This toy is a major fail and now calls the trash can home. I would tell anyone who asked to not even think about wasting money on this one and find something else.
