What surprised me when I first picked up the Pure Wand was how heavy it is. The shape of this toy is so sleek and elegant that I expected it to be much lighter. Don't get me wrong though, the weight has proven to be a great asset. With the Pure Wand inserted vaginally while lying on one's back, the weight pulls the outside end of the toy down. This creates pressure on the g-spot--something that feels really good. This sensation can be increased by pressing down on the outside end of the toy. I've found the Pure Wand to be an excellently designed and crafted tool for g-spot pleasure. The curve makes it very easy to manipulate the toy on one's self. The solidness and weight of the steel leave no room for flexibility. Each move of this toy is precise and wholly felt.

This toy is gorgeous. Though there is only a 1/2" difference in diameter between the 1" side and the 1-1/2" side, the way the toy is shaped makes the difference look more dramatic. The medical-grade steel is smooth and perfect. In fact, it's so smooth that it acts like a mirror. I made a happy discovery the other night when I noticed that I can look at my conch reflected in the bulbous head of the Pure Wand!

The first couple of times I used the Pure Wand, I really just let it sit there and give its firm pressure to my g-spot. This is plenty pleasurable, and sometimes I don't really move the toy around with my hand at all. It's fun to squeeze onto it with my PC muscle and manipulate the toy from inside my body. I've also gotten into rubbing the toy up and down on my g-spot from the direction of my navel down to my clit. Twisting from side to side can be fun. Sometimes I lift my whole pelvic area up while applying upward pressure with the Pure Wand and imagine I've just been hooked and caught by this pleasure device.

Really, I'd say the Pure Wand is a solid investment for anyone who's into hard material toys. It's exquisitely crafted and can last a lifetime with proper care. The two differently-sized heads add choices for different sensations. I often find that I don't take advantage of both ends of double-ended toys, but with the Pure Wand I definitely do. The 1" side has a more intense and focused sensation while the larger end is more filling and applies pressure to a larger area. Both of these are lovely and for different reasons. It's easy to switch from one side to another.

The Pure Wand comes in an elegant, sturdy, discreet black box. Inside there's a toy-shaped slot for the toy to fit into, lined with sleek pink fabric. It's definitely high-end, and would make a breath-taking gift. There's a little instruction pamphlet that comes along with the toy that details NJoy's line of products.

The Pure Wand can be washed in soap and water. For sterilization, it can be boiled (Though be sure to let it cool down for a long time before handling it. The steel retains heat exceptionally well, which makes it great for temperature play. But that also means it's going to be boiling hot after coming out of boiling water.), washed with a 10% bleach solution, or run through the dishwasher. It's nice to buff the steel with a dry cloth to get that gorgeous shine to come out.
