This has a lot of safety benefits since it is non-porous and can be boiled to sterilize. This gives it a 10 rating on EdenFantasys' safety scale. When properly cared for, steel can last a very long time. It's a long-term relationship with this one; what more could you ask for?

This is my very first steel toy, and while I have enjoyed the firmness of glass toys in the past, maneuvering a two pound hunk of steel is a completely different experience! I find it retains temperatures very well. I spent a long time trying to warm it up underneath the blankets, but with no direct heat source, it stayed very cold. I eventually got brave enough to place it between my thighs to warm it up (SUCH a jolt, by the way), and within moments, it was warm enough to play with. Of course, metal is very heavy, so I noticed right away how quickly my wrists got tired while playing around with this toy.

Design/Texture
One thing I love about this toy is its simplicity. It's very minimalistic, but works all the right areas. I'm not a huge texture fan, so I really appreciated the smoothness of this toy. Being steel, it's extremely firm and unforgiving. If you're using this toy on your partner, pay attention to their body language to make sure you aren't hurting them (if they're not already telling you that you're jamming it into their pelvic bone or bruising their cervix).

The curve of this toy is quite sharp, and makes a perfect "C" shape with bulbs on both ends. One bulb is larger than the other. I'll go into size in the next section. These bulbs are perfect for locating and stimulating the G-spot or P-spot. Right after insertion, I could feel this bulb against my G-spot. The curve makes it somewhat ergonomic for thrusting and rocking, though it takes some getting used to. Be careful not to rub this against the pubic bone too forcefully; it can get caught and hurt a lot.





Size
Between the bulbs, the Pure Wand measures 8 inches in length. Including the bulbs themselves, this extends to 11 inches long. The insertable length varies with anatomy. I personally don't insert this more than 4 or 5 inches because of the combination of the drastic curve and my G-spot placement.

The bulbs themselves have different dimensions. The smaller, less-filling end has a diameter of 1 inch, and a circumference of 3 and 1/4 inches. The larger, oh-so-pleasurable end has a diameter of 1.6 inches, which comes out to a circumference of 5 inches!





Along with the size of the bulbs and length of this toy, the weight is also very impressive! Njoy's website states that this wand weighs a hefty 1.5 pounds. I was shocked when I first lifted this wand from its satiny home. You could seriously hurt someone with this toy! I joked with a friend that I would keep it by my bed at all times in case an intruder found their way inside. They definitely wouldn't forget the pain of 1.5 pounds of steel frantically attacking them, followed by a small woman's sharp yells and screams.

I've tried using this toy a handful of times now, and each time have gotten closer to G-spot orgasm, though with no success so far. I prepare with towels, clearing my mind, and relaxing. Different techniques give different sensations, though all bring my wrists to pain after a few minutes. Switching hands during fun time can be quite a drag, too, but I noticed with my non-dominant hand that I was hitting my G-spot in a more pleasurable way. This leads me to believe my G-spot may be tilted to one side more than the other. I would have never known until I got this toy. Even with the right ambience, though, I end up getting so close, but unable to break past the "having to pee" feeling. I've even tried to "push" it out, but nothing happens. Frustrated, I usually just finish off with a clitoral orgasm. I can say, though, that this toy has brought me closer than any other G-spot toy has brought me. I have several glass toys and vibrating dildos that do the job very well when combined with clitoral stimulation, and I was hoping I could reach the big "O" without that extra stimulation with this toy. The brochure states that all of their toys are pure, hypoallergenic, medical-grade stainless steel which will never corrode or degrade in any way. Just don't use an abrasive cleaner or abrasive scrubber with this, and it should last a very long time.

For just a quick clean, use soap and water, followed by drying and polishing with a soft cloth. If you feel like you need to clean this more thoroughly (especially when sharing this toy or changing from anal to vaginal play), sterilize the Pure Wand by boiling it in water for a few minutes or submersing it in a mild 10% bleach solution. Be sure to rinse well after that soak. You can also put this in the dishwasher!

The packaging for the Pure Wand is semi-luxurious. It has an outer cardboard sleeve in white, and the box itself is black and very minimalistic on the outside, with just the company's name "njoy" written on the bottom corner. Unless you're familiar with the company, I would safely say that this box is pretty discreet unless opened up.





When you open the box up, you find this luxurious-looking silky material flowing around the indentation of where the Pure Wand sits. Underneath the satin, it feels like a cheap styrofoam, though it looks very nice with just a glance.





Inside you receive the Pure Wand (obviously), along with Njoy's brochure about their line of toys, along with how to care for the toy. I wish the brochure listed uses and techniques for the toy. I suppose their idea was to have a pretty discreet brochure as well.

The box this toy comes in is perfectly designed for storage of this toy (and ONLY this toy, with its fitted indentation into the styrofoam). I will probably end up discarding the box eventually, simply because I will be moving countries and need to travel as light as I can (though the Pure Wand doesn't help me much in luggage weight restrictions).

I've been eyeing the Pure Wand for about a year now, and something inside of me lately was bugging me to get it. I tend to wander around the reviews for this product a lot for search of techniques and ways other users "njoy" this toy, even before I bought it.

Personally, I'm inclined to give this toy a 3 because of the disappointment, but I know it has a lot to do with my anatomy so I can't blame the toy for that. It's very well-made and has so many good qualities that I feel obligated to give it a 4. I definitely think many more people will discover this will work with them, but many will also find out that it won't, too.

Let me just start off by saying that this toy does not guarantee that you will have a mind-blowing orgasm! It's a toy meant for someone who is familiar with their body and knows what it needs in order to climax. I know there are so many reviews out there that rant and rave about this, so it was very tempting to find out what all the hype was about, but I was slightly disappointed by my experience with this toy. If you were born with a G-spot, though, you will definitely find out where it is with this. I imagine the same goes for those with a P-spot, but I cannot speak from experience.
