This toy was definitely designed
After so much positive feedback, and considering my enjoyment of the
Fun Wand, I was eager to try out the famed Pure Wand! Like the Fun Wand, the Pure Wand is packaged in a sturdy, satin-lined black storage box and is quite beautifully presented.
The first thing that struck me about the Pure Wand was how curved it is--the curve is MUCH more pronounced than it looks in the pictures! The second was just how heavy the toy is, especially on the side with the larger balled head. This toy will double as a weapon if you ever need one, believe me! I expected a heavy toy because it is made of stainless steel, but I was actually surprised by the weight of this one.
Because it is stainless steel, you can use it with any lube (though it is smooth enough you may not need any, except maybe for the larger head), and it is easy to clean and sterilize. I also know my Pure Wand is going to be with me for many years to come.
I started out inserting the smaller balled end, which felt terrific. I used some
g-spot stimulation gel, and combined with the coolness of the stainless steel, it provided an incredible sensation! I quickly found out, to my surprise, however, that I do not really enjoy using the Pure Wand for thrusting purposes. I do not know if it is because of the balled heads or the pronounced curve, but this toy just felt better when I let the head rest on my g-spot (it hits the spot quite well, in my case) and wiggled it around a little.
Though I was a bit daunted by the size, I decided to try the larger balled head next. It was a bit uncomfortable during insertion, but provided a wonderful, full feeling once in place and definitely hit all the right spots! The curve allows the toy to rest along the length of your labia and clit, so I pulled out my
Magic Wand to add some vibration. Woah! The Pure Wand conducts vibration wonderfully, and since it is curved to stimulate a wide region, the sensation was incredible! Between the large ball buzzing inside me and the smooth, cool steel resting on me externally, I got off in no time!
I generally find stainless steel to be a “cool” feeling material; however, it can be warmed under warm tap water (just make sure to test the temperature before you use it on or in any sensitive areas!). One of my favorite tricks with
dual-ended toys like this is to warm one end and leave the other end nice and cold and alternate between the two sensations. Delightful!
The
Njoy' Wand was not the smooth thrusting toy I was expecting it to be, but it still definitely did not disappoint. This is one toy that will do most of the work for you if you just rest it along your labia and wiggle it around with the other end. It is also suitable for beginners and experienced users alike because of the different sized heads. Definitely a winner on its own, but absolutely mind-blowing when paired with a powerful vibe!
A graduation present for myself! That's a thought!
If it's truly worth saving for, I will definitely buy this one, it looks gorgeous and i like how it's curved. Are steel toys really shiny? That's another quality that i think i'd like in a steel toy, such as how glass toys are glossy. Right now i'm obsessed with glass toys and will be reviewing one shortly! Next steel will surely be another obsession, i can tell.
Thanks for a great review btw!
Glad you liked it as much as I did! And did you ever read my blog post about "the duel of the two wands; the Hitachi and the Pure?" Your experience reminds me of it :)
Yay for steel toys that feel absolutely amazing. And I totally keep my by my door, to knock would be burglars on the head. It IS 3 lbs! How embarassing would that be? Not only to have your robbery botched, but to be conked in the head with a giant steel dildo? Score 1 for the perverts!
Yeah, I would definitely not want to take a smack from this thing upside the head!
I'll need to read your blog post, Essin' Em--I'm just now starting to get into the blogs and forums.
And thank you for your kind comments, BlueEyedBitch. I am very fortunate to have such a great collection, and I think if you add this toy to yours you will definitely not regret it (especially if you've got a Hitachi to go with it!).
