They say that this toy will find your g-spot, and they speak the truth. Both ends of the toy really do it for me. The Pure Wand has a bit of an odd shape compared to other toys. The curve is practically a C-shape.

You'll want to go slowly until you get the hang of how it moves inside you. Really, it's all about finding a balance point, and then all you need is a bit of pressure to rock the wand back and forth to really do some amazing things to your g-spot. I know other people have complained about the curve getting stuck around their pelvic bone, but the key is just to go slowly. I can't stress this enough.

Hard materials like the steel the Pure Wand is made from are great for g-spot targeting. Because it's so hard, you'll want to be careful not to thrust too forcefully and accidentally hit your cervix, especially if you're using it with a partner. Though really, just take your time and you'll get the hang of it in no time.

If the price doesn't scare you off, I think this toy would be excellent for beginners, especially ones who haven't yet located their g-spot. At least for me, the Pure Wand easily slides inside and directly onto my g-spot with barely any effort at all. The larger end in particular is very nice, because certainly stimulates more of the internal area, without feeling especially girthy once it's inserted. The ball is fairly sizable, but the shaft narrows immediately, so that you're really focused on your g-spot, rather than getting distracted by other sensations lower in your vagina. The Pure Wand looks deceptively large compared to how it feels when it's inserted. Which certainly isn't a bad thing in my book! I'd recommend this toy for anyone who's looking for a high-end, and very nice quality, g-spot or p-spot toy.

Is it travel friendly? Well, that depends on much you want to lug around. If you have a very large suitcase and no weight limit, I'd say go right ahead. But I usually choose to leave this one at home when I travel.

You could use this toy in plenty of locations. Personally, I tend to use it in bed the most, but, since it has no moving parts, you could certainly use it in water if you wanted. Just don't drop it in your sink or ceramic tub, you could easily do some damage to your bathroom. Your toy, on the other hand, would probably remain unscathed.

The Pure Wand is made of 100% surgical grade stainless steel. It's a really fantastic material for a couple of reasons. The first is, of course, safety. Stainless steel is completely body-safe. No nasty chemicals or odors here! Though I would advise any of you with contact allergies to look into its composition before buying. Stainless steel is fine for most people, but it is possible for some severely allergic people to react to the nickel that it contains.


The texture of the toy itself is actually pretty remarkable. Don't be scared off by the fact that the Pure Wand is made out of metal. It can really produce some fantastic sensations. This toy has a particular, almost liquid feel. The stainless steel is highly polished, it becomes frictionless in use. It's incredibly smooth. You won't have to worry too much about lube with this one.

Design? You want to hear about design? More toy manufactures should take a page out of this book. Hands down, Njoy has the sexiest—styled items of any I've seen.

The Pure Wand is really a beautiful piece of work. It's sleek, minimal, and modern. It looks in no way like a phallic object. The design is really remarkable for being fluid and ergonomic visually as well as in use. If you've ever admired industrial design art objects, I'm sure the Pure Wand has already caught your eye. I know it caught my eye, and when I finally got to experience it in person, it certainly did not disappoint.

When I first picked it up, I was surprised at how heavy it was. A pound and a half makes for a pretty solid toy. The weight really gives it an added presence, and even gives it a quality unlike other hard toys like glass wands.

This is definitely a luxury item. You've probably already noticed that it's a bit pricier than a lot of other dildos. But it's so worth it. This toy is extremely well-designed. If you know you like g-spot stimulation, I can almost guarantee you'll love this toy. If you're just beginning to discover your g-spot, and have some extra cash to spring for a really nice starter toy, I'd tell you to go for it. But if you're a beginner who's more cautious, you might be better off starting with a less expensive curved glass toy.

A note about the actual weight of this toy—EdenFantasys lists it at three pounds, but that refers to the shipping weight, including the gift box it comes in. This PDF, a spec sheet from the manufacturer's site, lists the actual weight at one and a half pounds. It's certainly weighty enough, believe me.

The smaller ball end has a diameter of one inch and the larger end has a diameter of an inch and a half. The entire length is 8 inches, with about 7 inches of that being insertable. I was actually surprised at how much of the Pure Wand slid inside me very easily. The weight really helps to pull it in. But if you decide to insert it deeply, remember that you could easily bruise your cervix.

Tipping the scales at 1.51 pounds, the weight of the Pure Wand is its achilles heel as well as its saving grace. The hefty nature is definitely sexy, but at times I found that it could be a disadvantage as well.

The Pure Wand has two insertable ends, one small and one large. I like to warm up with the smaller end, but I find that it can cause a bit of arm strain at times. When you're using the smaller end, you're going to be holding on to the larger, and weightier, ball end. I found that in order to hit my g-spot, I had to hold back the wand from sliding in too deeply. In other words, repeatedly lifting a pound and a half. Really, it's a bit like being at the gym and doing forearm exercises. Don't you think? No? Well, maybe not.

But on the plus side, the weight feels amazing with the larger end inserted. The ball on the end is on the large side, at an inch and a half, but the weight and the smooth texture help it to slide easily to right where you want it.

Due to its unique shape, there may be a bit of a learning "curve" when using this toy. (No excuses for that pun.) I found it to be very ergonomic to use. I didn't have to put my hand into any awkward positions to use it how I wanted. The Pure Wand is an excellent tool for producing a wide range of sensations. Since it's a dildo, your first instinct might be to thrust it, but a rocking motion is what really feels great to me. If you get the balance point right, you hardly have to move your fingers at all to feel a pretty significant sensation. Another technique to try is to tighten your kegel muscles around the toy, then use a tugging motion instead of rocking or thrusting.

Cleaning the Pure Wand couldn't be simpler. You can wash it with a soap of your choice (personally I would recommend using a fragrance-free soap or one you know won't leave any potentially irritating residue behind). You can also sterilize it by boiling for a few minutes. As long as you don't use any corrosive or abrasive industrial cleaners, you're good to go!

Stainless steel is so smooth, you might not need any lube at all, but if you want to use it, it's totally compatible with any of your favorite lubes.

Of course, being made from metal, the Pure Wand is super durable. If you wanted, you could toss it in with any other toys, and not worry about any reactions... but you might have to worry about how forcefully you tossed it in your toy box, it's definitely heavy enough that you could easily take a chunk off a more fragile toy if you dropped the Pure Wand on it! Personally, I ended up keeping my Pure Wand in the box it came in. It's a pretty good box, and I was too worried about it chipping one of my glass toys by accident if I tried to store it with them.

The Pure Wand comes in a nice, solid box that works for a gift, as well as storage. But if you plan on storing it in the box, be warned that it does take up quite a lot of room. Fortunately, it's discreet, so even if you leave it out, most people will have no idea what's contained. It does have the Njoy logo in silver on the outside, though. But hey, if any of your friends realize what's inside, it's probably because they own one too!
