Have You Ever Been to Sea, Billy?
G-spot - Meet the Tentacle. Now play nice, you two! Seriously, you know you have a good toy when you have to remind yourself the last time you got down and dirty with it, you rubbed yourself raw. I will easily masturbate several times in a row with this dildo, or until I am so sore that I have to stop.Published: June 13, 2009
Pros:
The curved point is excellent for g-spot stimulation, and hello? It looks like an Octopus tentacle!
Cons:
This toy is not harness compatible.
Right. So, I like crazy colored, funny textured, unique shaped sex toys. I like to have fun when I have sex. As soon as I saw the Tentacle and the Jellyfish by Whipspider Rubberworks, I checked to make sure I still had my snorkel and goggles, and then I smiled.
The Tentacle, what a great name. What a fun shape. It's thick (the circumference is 7") and it's curved. Baby Sinead used it as a phone (how cute was that!) and I have to say its shape is like a banana and I HAVE used a banana as a phone before, so I see the inspiration ;)
The curvy point at the top beckons to your clit on the outside, and your g-spot on the inside. Both ways made me squirt within a few minutes of stimulation. This is the highlight of the Tentacle for me. The divets twisting around the side of the dildo add to the whimsical, deep sea adventure, look of the toy and do provide some interesting stimulation inside you.
As the other reviewers have pointed out, the flared base means anal sex is a no go as well as harness incompatible. It also meant that with all the lube (please use water-based) applied; this dill became one slippery devil at times. With nothing to hold onto at the end, did make for a few awkward moments for me. But I digress.
What this toy is made for, it does very well; G-spot stimulation. For anyone that has yet to know or understand exactly where their g-spot is (sensitive tissue in the front wall of the vagina) or how to get to it, I highly recommend playing with a curved toy such as the Tentacle.
When explaining g-spot stimulation to others, I always do the ‘come here’ beckoning call with my index and middle fingers. Fingers (or toys) inserted inside the vagina, pressing up and then pulling down and/or towards you seem to hit the spot for me. The Tentacle's curved tip design provided me with this type of stimulation easily.
I can't wait to try out the Tentacle's sister product, the Jellyfish in the harness at a play party and just wait for the responses. Don't you love it when something turns out to be just as fantastically fun as you'd hoped it to be? I give this product two (or should I say four) "come here" fingers up!

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
My toy box is full of fun, fun, fun toys like the Tentacle. It is starting to look slightly worn (no surprise there ;) but remains a favorite. The curved design is perfect. The tentacle is the belle of the ball at play parties and I happily tell others, "Get your own!"

is this popular?

There are 19 reviews for it, so it seems to be fairly popular. Also, it seems to be very good in general, as all of the reviews are pretty good.

Yes. I've heard a lot of good things about it. I don't have this yet, but I am so eventually going to get it!

Bestiality

Isn't this promoting bestiality?
-
No more so than realistic dildos promoting penis severing.
-
LOL. I don't think so.
It's no more "real" than rabbit vibes or a hello kitty pocket rocket.
No one, not the makers, sellers or those who purchase it, is recommending sex with an octopus. It's simply a whimsical design.

Tentacle Fetish?
-
How would you insert this? You can't insert it all the way, can you? Would you say that it's a good clit stimulant? And would you try out this toy, especially if you had a tentacle fetish? If you don't have that sort of fetish, would you still try it out?

And I can't say I've ever had any sort of tentacle fetish, but I would try this out in a heartbeat! Looks too cool not to :)

I wonder that as well. It looks rather painful to fully insert. It had a pretty dramatic curve.

Thank you for viewing Tentacle – sex toy review page!

this is such a strange looking toy! I love it.. thanks for the review!
Yess, G-spot stim is my best friend. I must have this someday. I also really like texture, so I'm sure I'll love it.
It's so pretty, in an under-the-sea-strange sort of way.
I have odd visions of using this in a harness
This has been on my wishlist forever - must get.
Just because it looks completley weird in a good way I think I am already in love with it. How easy is it to clean?
Such a very odd toy. Good review, though.
@ vanilla impaired, I boil and also use a toothbrush (for this purpose only) with antibacterial solution to scrub around all the 'suckers'.
@ MistressKay, I really recommend this toy!
I love the look of this!
Great review
@ Viktor, Thanks! For a strap-on experience, the Jellyfish is a good choice. It was out of stock due to it's popularity, but back in stock just recently. And on my wish list
Thanks for the review. I want this thing so bad!
Thanks RRH! I still love this dildo!

I'd really like to try this one!
thanks for the review
Thank you for the review!
This is so different from anything I've seen, I love the look of the texture. Possibly something I'd get later on down the road.
