Tentacle - dildo discontinued by Whipspider rubberworks - review by Kim!

The Tentacle is great for thrusting, particularly with the texture of the suckers and. They twist around so nicely so that there are always changing sensations while thrusting. You can also rock it slightly (or more) to focus on g spot stimulation. It curves wonderfully for that and seems as thought it would work for most women. The suckers are arranged so that when the toy is inserted deeply, the base, and therefore some of the suckers, can make for some enjoyable clitoral stimulation.

The base flares enough that if you wish to use this toy anally, it should be safe. It isn't the most easy to grip base if you wish to thrust, particularly when lubed-up (with water-based lube!). I'm passing on this though, I'm not a fan of texture back there.

In addition to the more obvious uses, the Tentacle can be used for stimulating other ares of the body with the definite tip and the sucks providing varying feelings wherever they end up. Drag it down your partner while acting out most evil of your fantasies lurking in the depths of the ocean.

I'm not a tentacle fetishist, this just looked like awesome texture. I was so right about that. Heck, they could make it less realistic and put them all over the thing and it would have been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, if you like things that are quite intense, that is. If you aren't a fan of intense texture, the Tentacle, as it stands, really isn't that horrible. The silicone is quite squishy and the suckers are only on one side. The rest of the toy is mostly smooth, with ever so subtle variations to give it a more realistic look. The texture is one of the best happy mediums I have seen, enough texture to please those who enjoy it but a nice amount of squishiness and subtle enough texture for those who are not such big fans of it. In spite of the squishiness of the Tentacle, it really does not flop around. It does jiggle bit when bumped.

The letters "WSR" are lightly etched into the side, near the bottom. They are barely noticeable and do not add any additional texture as they are outside of the insertable area. On the bottom itself there is a black seal with Whipspider Rubber Work's logo.

Technically speaking, this is an arm or a leg (it's now believed that an octopus has 6 arms and 2 legs), not a tentacle but that just isn't as catchy. Tentacles only have suckers at the ends.

Sorry for that little lesson. Let's move on now, shall we?

The shape is amazing, the curve is there for a most excellent and useful reason, to hit the most magical and wonderful areas (your g spot, or p spot, depending on who you are and where this is going) and hit it, it does.

The size goes from pretty slender to fairly large so I can't recommend this to those who prefer a smaller toy; there's the Tentacle Jr for them. However, if you like some girth then by all means, purchase the Tentacle the very next time that you see it in stock. The tip has a circumference of around 3 1/2" while the base itself is nearly 9", with the insertable portion ending at around 7" or so. The entire length is 6 1/2" and all but about an inch, maybe slightly less is insertable. Keep in mind that these are hand casted so perhaps your dimensions will be a bit off depending on various conditions. But this is clearly a dildo for those who enjoy girth.

It is quite discreet. It looks more like art than a sex toy. Of course, one may be curious as to why you stuffed a tentacle (arm) in your luggage but hey, they judge people all day long and you probably won't be the weirdest. Just wait until someone comes along with the corn vibrator. When sitting on a shelf, this probably won't be too obvious, particularly if your decor tends to be a bit more, um, eclectic. But the second someone bumps into said shelf and this thing is sent into motion, the distinctive sex toy jiggle will more than likely give it away to all but the most clueless folks.

Everything about this toy is perfect, in my opinion. The curve allows it to hit my g spot quite nicely and the texture feels great. The base itself is not ideal for gripping but it works alright enough. The Tentacle becomes thick enough so that it gives quite a nice full feeling once you ease your way down the shaft but it isn't incredibly dramatic, given the toy's squish factor.

It also glows for quite awhile once fully charged by light. Let's face it, you were curious.

Since this is made out of 100% pure silicone, maintenance is a breeze. Dishwasher, boiling, hot soapy water, and toy cleaners are all options for cleaning. The ability to thoroughly sterilize the Tentacle, due to silicone's durability, makes for this toy to be great for sharing if you want. Always be sure to use condoms if sharing without sterilizing between individuals or holes. One important word of caution, those suckers are fairly indented and can trap sexy time residues. Keep this in mind while cleaning and give them a bit of extra care.

As for storing this toy, you could leave it on a shelf if you wish. I cannot recommend leaving it on, say, a coffee table since those do get bumped and it will quickly give itself away. Unless, of course, you want it to give itself away. Otherwise, just store as you would most other silicone toys, in its own separate bag to prevent it from bonding with jelly toys. You could return it to its original ziplock bag if you would like. I saved the bag for use with a smaller toy since it can be a bit tricky to get in and out of there but it was still a nice bag.

Since this is silicone, silicone-based lubricants are not recommended for use with the product. Water-based are ideal and will keep your toy in the best possible condition.

This came in a small ziplock baggie with an information card about the company and the product. It was such a pain to get this out of the bag that I probably won't return this particular toy to that bag but another toy will fit just fine.

After longing for this thing for so long my very own Tentacle arrived just this afternoon but I want to get all of my first impressions down immediately and come back to finish this once we've spent even more time together.I was a bit shocked to feel how rubbery the Tentacle actually is. I'm not sure what I was expecting, a hard silicone to bludgeon someone with? In addition, I was surprised to see exactly how beautiful it actually is once you see it in person. Sure, it looks nice and wonderful in the picture but nothing compares to actually holding it in your hand. The glow in the dark section goes up the front, and it looks pretty much how you would expect a glow in the dark thing to look. But the blue has this gorgeous color to it. It has swirls of different shades of blue throughout and then it has this almost mother-of-pearl sheen to it so that sometimes when the light hits it just right it looks more purple.
