Just because, there's a rather interesting history behind just WHY people got so into tentacles for use in sex.
Back... Oh I dunno... round ww2 I think? Don't quote me on that. Anyways, back then, thanks to us here in the U.S. the use of penis in ANY forms of entertainment, where banned, all throughout Japan, and as we all know, the Japanese LOVE their hentai, yaoi, yuri, shonenai, shojoai, and the like, so how did they get around the laws at the time? TENTACLES! They were the closest thing anyone could come with to an actual penis, without forcing their characters to have sex with cucumbers or something, therefore the tentacle fanbase was born. Much of which involves tentacle rape; however there are many writing, and artist communities that involve tentacle love, and are rather romantic in nature.
If you are unsure about tentacles, try reading some tentacle love stories, or viewing some art, though I wouldn't recommend checking out the tentacle rape unless you REALLY want to, because some of them can be rather.... nasty(putting it nicely). If you enjoy the tentacle love, then maybe tentacles are for you, if not... oh well, at least you kept an open mind right?
