I call it my gun...
I believe The Share is well worth the investment. It may take a bit to get the hang of, but with some practice, it will be a great addition to any arsenal. The sleek black design has its place as much in the spicy vanilla bedroom as in the dark dungeon play space. The intimidation (if present) can be overcome slowly or used with in the scene.Published: October 26, 2010
Pros:
no harness necessary, sleek design, mutual stimulation, silicone, stays in place, intimidating
Cons:
hair and fibers cling to silicone surface, large size requires practice to use, intimidating
Hold it upside down in your hand, you will feel the power. Just be careful where you point it, it might go off in your hand. I have been told by lovers that its a bit intimidating, especially the bulb (the end you wear inside). I personally love a challenge, and this gun takes a bit of practice to shoot straight.
My first impression of The Share was "its big and floppy" but after using it, I personally find "the floppiness" to be an important design quality. The size (thickness) does take some work. I greased it up with a good non-silicone lube, got under the sheets, and with some help, worked it in. It popped out the first couple tries but as soon as it was all the way inside it stuck. Once i was comfortable with how it felt and sure it was going to stay put, i jumped out of bed and danced around in front of the mirror, thrusting my pelvis to slap it up and down.
The slick design, curves and velvety feel i find very sexy. The bulb is designed for g-spot stimulation and i found, that while using it with someone else, it did get very intense. When this became too much, I had my partner get on top, this helped. Also it was useful to use my hand to steady the "floppiness", but with some practice and a good rhythm it wasn't as necessary. Receiving oral sex while wearing The Share is one of my favorite things. I also enjoy sucking on it and find the taste and smell, once washed well, to be neutral. The long end is shaped decently for anal sex if you are OK with the size (a hand for steadying i found is necessary). I love the look and feel of fucking without a harness.
Due to the material and color (i have black), i do find that it picks up hair and fibers very easily. So having a good place to store it is important. The share can be boiled to sanitize. I recommend cleaning or sanitizing, fully drying, and then putting it away in a safe place (i put mine in a box rater than bag) before anything get the chance to cling to it. I have not thrown away my other toys or harnesses. I am not always in the mood for The Share, as it does take a bit of work and time to "put it on", and the size is too intimidating right now for some of my lovers to wear. I also wish i could figure out a way for it to be worn anally. But for those special occasions, or just when i feel like jumping around in front of the mirror, I feel "my gun" was worth the investment.

can you get off while using this?
-
I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
-
without too much effort on my part?
-
It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.
If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.
Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

Strapless dildos

Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
-
I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
-
It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

Share vs. Feeldoe
-
forkehHow do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?
Thank you. -
Quote: How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness? They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
Thank you. -
I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

Strap-onless strap-ons
-
I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
-
A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well. -

Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.

Thank you for viewing Share – double ended dildo review page!

Welcome to eden! Thanks for the review.
If you want to hold the bulb/"pony" anally the Feeldoes are a better choice, but the Share is tops for holding power and is also good for almost any position.
Good first review. Welcome!
Welcome. Nice review!
ScottA- thanks for the tip. would you need to use a harness with the Feeldoe if you wore it anally? I have played a little with the Feeldoe and find the Share's aesthetic and sheer power to be more pleasing, but maybe i should give the Feeldoe another try. They are both great toys and it could be worth having both.
Welcome to Eden. This one is on our wish list.
