Use

The Share by fun factory is a double ended dildo. The dildo has two ends. A bulbous bean shaped end that is inserted into the vagina of the person who will be penetrating. The other end is a fairly standard dildo. The dildo end can be used vaginally or anally. Meaning it can be used on a male or a female. It is very safe to use anally, because there is no way you are going to insert the bean shaped end into the rectum. So you can classify is as a flared base.

This is a gender play and a partner play toy. It is a gender play toy, because it allows a female to have a penis. A very male organ. It allows you to "swap" genders while wearing it. It is good for partner play, because it has two end. The toy always requires at least one female. But the second partner can be either a male or a female.

The Share is a harness free dildo. The theory is that you can clench your pelvic floor muscles to keep it in place while you penetrate you partner. This is more achievable if you are partaking in female/female vaginal sex. The vagina offers less resistance compared to the anus. Anal sphincter muscles are simply stronger than pelvic floor muscles. This means if you are engaging in pegging (a female penetrating a male), then it is very likely you are going to need to add a harness for additional support. This is a common misconception a lot of people have and then they feel bad when they can not keep the dildo in place. So if that happens it is very normal. Physiologically speaking it is probable. So just keep that in mind.

The best way to use this toy is to use a little bit of lubricant and insert it into the vagina. Try not to use too much or it will be harder to keep in place. This will also be the case when you start to self lubricate.

The toy can be used during solo play as well. The dildo end can be used as a dildo vaginally or anally like any other dildo. It is also possible to use the bean shaped end during solo play. It has ridges and bumps and is quite filling and can provide solo stimulation. Some women can even orgasm from the bean shaped end alone. The dildo can be used as a handle when doing this and you can thrust with it, rock it, jiggle it or whatever you desire. The bean end has a ridge where it meets the dildo end. This ridge comes up and presses on your clitoris and adds additional stimulation.

The toy I think changes from beginner toy to intermediate depending on how you are using this toy. So firstly is the bean shaped end. It is a little big, but I think most people will not have an issue getting to fit. It may require some warm up and lubricant, but I think most users will not have an issue.

Depending on how you are using the dildo end I think changes the user type. If you are using it vaginally then I think it is a beginner toy. The dildo is fairly averaged size, and I do not think it will be too large. If you are using it anally though the toy I think is too big for beginners. I think it is more of an intermediate sized toy. The toy tapers to get bigger at the end of the dildo and I think that is going to be too large for beginners. I would recommend anal play with something smaller to start.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of 100 percent food grade silicone. Fun Factory makes great high quality toys and this one is not an exception.

Silicone is hypoallergenic, so you are not going to have an allergic reaction to it. It is completely non-porous so it is not going to harbor any bacteria or smell. It is also phthalate and latex free. Silicone rates a 10 on Eden's safety scale and for good reason. It is one of the safest sex toy materials out there.

The toy has no taste to it or any smell. Even after it has been used vaginally or anally it has no taste or smell to it (after you have washed it). My girlfriend has gotten me to give her penis a blowjob and I do mind at all that the toy has been used anally previously (again washed between anal use and the blowjob). There is no taste or smell and that is due to the properties of silicone.

The toy is quite soft. If you squeeze it, it has give to it. The silicone does have a fair bit of drag to it. When you run you hand over the toy you can feel some resistance. This just means the toy may need a little more lubricant.

The toy has a bulbous end. It is very similar to a real penis. The bulbous end does add sensations to when using the toy. You feel a slight pop as it enters and tapers down. The toy also has two "veins" or ridges that run along the side. These too add some interesting texture when using the toy.

This toy is compatible with certain harness types. We have an Aslan Jaguar and the toy does work the harness.

Design / Shape / Size

The Share is a well designed toy. The first end is the bean end. The bean end is relatively big and requires some relaxation and some play before it will go into you. This makes sense to me. If the bean end was small and slipped in easily then the toy would not stay in very well. It would fall out easily. By making it comfortably big you get more control with it, because it will stay in better. The bean shaped end has a girth of around 5 and a half inches and an insertable length of 4 and a half inches.

The bean shaped end has a ridge that pops up on the outside of the toy. What this creates is a small section that resides outside of you that hugs your clitoris. I think this is a smart design element. What happens is that when you move the piece of silicone rubs on your clitoris providing extra stimulation.

The dildo end looks like a realistic dildo. It has a bulbous head like a normal penis. I think Fun Factory should have two versions of the share. One with a realistic head and one without. I personally prefer a non-realistic dildo when playing with my girlfriend. But it was not an actual issue for me. The dildo tapers to a bigger size along its length until it meets the bean. It starts out with a girth of 5 inches and works its way up to 5 and three quarters of an inch in girth. This size may be too large for people using it anally. The dildo end has 6 and a quarter inches of insertable length. I think this is a good size. It is a realistic size. That is longer than average, but is something realistic still. I think one of the objectives of the toy is to create a realistic gender swapping experience. And the toy being relatively similar to a real penis helps with that.

The toy weights 1.5 pounds. I do not think this toy is discreet. It looks like a dildo, well the one at least. The bean end may confuse someone who is unfamiliar with sex toys, but it does look like a sex toy. I think this toy would travel very well. Silicone is soft and pliable. You can put a huge bend in the toy without damaging it. So I think any abuse it endures during travel is not going to damage it at all.

Performance

I will start this section with how my girlfriend described it. "It rubs everything!" and when she said it rubs everything she meant it rubs everything the right way. It provides a filling sensation with good internal stimulation. I gave her a handjob while she was using the toy and it provided a lot of stimulation. You rock the toy back and forth as you are sliding your hand up and down and it provides good g-spot stimulation and the outside ridge provides lots of clitoral stimulation. I have also given her a blowjob and the experience is very similar, just visually different.

Here is a photo of the toy.

We have not used this toy anally yet. It is still a little large for me, but I think we will try using it within the next two months, so I mention how it works anally in my follow up review. I would imagine it is very similar to what I described about a handjob. The toy would push into your clitoris and g-spot when you thrust into a person, and it would pull away when you pull outwards. This is actually quite similar to a real penis. The sensation of thrusting in and out are different and I think makes this toy even more fun.

I think one of the best parts of this toy is the psychological experience that occurs. For example one time we were trying this toy out and I was giving her a handjob and she was getting very aroused. So she pulls the toy out of her and inserts me into her and we have some wonderful sex. Afterwards she tells me that at one point it felt like she had the penis and was having sex with me and that was a huge turn on. That it was fun for her to have the penis. And I think that is a great experience. I have always personally wondered what it would be like to have a vagina, so I assume some women wonder it is like to have a penis (especially if you are buying this toy). My girlfriend does not refer to this as a toy. She refers to it as her penis. And that is fun. It provides something new and exciting that only non-traditional sex can provide

I too like the idea of her having the penis. We have tried pegging before with a harness and dildo and it is an interesting experience to be the penetrated, and not the penetrator. It adds a new dimension to sex and was very sexually exciting for me. I think gender play in the bedroom is wonderfully exciting.

The is quite easy to use. You insert it and then penetrate with it. Its ease of use is going to depend on the user as well. The stronger your pelvic floor muscles are the easier it is to use (so start doing your kegels). Also if you are extremely wet when around the toy is going to be slippery and harder to use. I have read stories where people get very aroused when using this toy and close to orgasm, but sometimes that is when the toy falls out, because it is so well lubricated. If this happens to you I suggest using it with a harness. I might suggest using it with a harness even if you don't have this issue. It will let you focus on the pleasure from the toy and allow you to relax and not concentrate on keeping the toy inside you.

Care and Maintenance

Because this toy is made out of silicone it is very easy to maintain. To clean, you you just need to wash it with soapy water. If you are going to switch partners with it you can also sterilize it either with a 10% bleach solution, boil it for three minutes, or sticking it in the dishwasher on the top rack with no soap. I just wash this toy with soap and water personally.

Silicone toys are best to store away from each other, because they can interact with each other and cause damage to each other. I store mine in a Ziploc bag. As long as it is stored away from other silicone toys you would not need to use a bag. I do wish this toy came with a bag to store it in, but not a major complaint.

This toy is made of silicone and should not be used with a silicone based lube. It should only be used with a water or an oil based lube. (oil based lube is bad vaginally, but can be used anally).

The toy can collect dust, so a quick rinse before use is never a bad idea, but I think that holds true with just about every toy.

Packaging

The toy comes packaged in a box that is covered by a sleeve. The first picture shows the front of the outside sleeve. On it is a picture of a couple holding hands. It also says share couple toy. On the side of the box there are some pictures that function as instructions. There is a dildo with a female/female sign and a female/male sign showing it can be used by both genders. There is a photo of a bum and a vagina, showing it can be used in both areas. Then there is a picture of the toy in water showing that it is waterproof.

The backside of the box has a life size picture of the toy. The other side of the box has a lifes ize photo of the toy if you were looking down on it.

Inside the sleeve is a pretty plain grey box

And then inside the box is the dildo

Overall the packaging is fun and makes you feel like you have a nice luxury toy. The packaging is not discreet. It has a photo of the toy on it in life size. But the box itself just says fun factory and is more discreet. The box is nice enough to store the toy in it if you want. I personally chose not too as the box is too large in my opinion. There are not written instructions for this toy, but there are photos on the side that are adequate. And the toy is pretty easy to use. You just insert the bulbous end and you are off to the races

Personal comments

I think the Share is a great toy and very versatile.

I personally like BDSM. So I like power dynamics. And pegging can be a power dynamic. Typically the male figure is the authoritative dominant figure. So to have my girlfriend strap on a dildo, or insert the Share it fulfills that desire to be dominated and adds a lot of fun.

That being said pegging can also be purely sensual. Prostate stimulation and anal stimulation feel good, so if you are a male and you like things that feel good (who doesn't) then this is also a great toy. It allows you to experience anal pleasure and your partner to experience pleasure as well. That is one of my favorite parts about this toy. I do not need to worry that my girlfriend will enjoy using this toy. When using a strap on dildo I always have some concerns about her enjoying herself (and this can be reduced with bullets and vibes, and other creative solutions), but with this toy I have to worry the least. The toy is simply effective as a dildo, and as a good stimulatory toy for the user.
Follow-up commentary
Still an absolute favorite pegging dildo. It provides so much stimulation for both the wearer and the receiver. We use this exclusively for our pegging adventures. It is just a great toy that has held up to use well and still works just as well as the day we bought it.

Awesome review! I bought my gf one for her birthday and played with it a bit. I managed, after some serious building up to - to fit it in anally and jerked the share off a bit and wow! The stimulation this provides was magic!

I cannot wait to put it on my girlfriend and see her reaction!
