I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.

It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

Depends what you are a beginner in. A beginner for strap on sex? Perhaps. For putting things into ones vagina? Definately. You're going to definately need to tone up those kegels, baby. I suggest a kegel exerciser before you use a strapless strapon without a harness. With a harness, it's great for all beginners.

Haven't used one and I probably won't for that reason.

The Share works better without a harness than the Feeldoe does, but that's mainly because of the shape and finish on the toys. The Share is matte finish, therefore less slick. You need to use more lube with the Share than with the FeelDoe, but it is less likely to slide right out. Same with the shape of the bulb. The Share is shaped better to stay in place inside a woman's body. I can use the Share without a harness with no problem, tho I prefer to use a harness with it. The toy is so heavy and the neck is so narrow that it droops when not actively being used! I like the way it looks standing straight up. Oh, and sometimes, if I'm especially well lubricated myself, the Share can slip out, especially after orgasm.

Hope this was helpful!

Not really. I've always had strapless dildos, and I find them fun, but that's just me.

You do need to have PC muscles (Kegels) that are strong and have stamina, however strong PCs have other benefits as well, so they're good to have anyway.

If you're starting I'd recommend getting a not-too-expensive-but- still-good harness (Sportsheets perhaps) to give an extra level of "holding power", especially if you'll be using the other end anally.

I've been kind of interesting in trying one too. It seems like it could be distracting though, you know?

They can be, so it's good to practice before having sex. As previous posters have said there's nothing wrong with using a harness with it for some added security.

it depends on your body, a harness for stability can help if your having trouble holding it in, but if you dont want to wear a harness you can use this and let the receiving partner stradle and ride you, an excellent way to use strap ons for the slightly nervous

This dildo is actually pretty easy to use. It was my first toy, ever. It took time to really get used to it, but once you do... it's amazing. I use it all the time now, with no problems!
