The Share is an amazing experience and absolutely worth the investment. With nothing to buzz and no straps to figure out, Share is a simple toy with endless possibilities. Always wanted that dp experience but can't find two men? This is your answer. Want to know what it feels like to have a cock? This is the way. Wanna thrill your girlfriend? Have your boyfriend suck your cock and actually get something physical out of it? Trust me, this is a toy to enjoy!Published: February 27, 2011
Pros:
easy to clean, pleasing texture, no odor or taste
Cons:
collects lint, can take some practice to use well
When I decided to get a strapless dildo, I asked around. I was surprised at how many people I knew had tried one or more. After comparing all the stories and feedback I received, I decided to go with the Share. Purple was the easy part of the choice to make. My housemate bought the black one, a friend of mine bought the pink, and we are still giggling about lining up and taking a photo together with them in.
When the box arrived, I opened it eagerly, then slowed down- the packaging for the toy itself was very pretty and worth taking a moment to appreciate. I opened it carefully and joyfully pulled out what turned out to be a surprisingly heavy toy. The surface was soft to the touch, entirely odorless, and quite firm. I devoured the instruction pamphlet and then proceeded to giggle with my friend and housemate about how one could hold the pony end and flop about the penis. Really, if this toy ever dies to internal use, I may very well turn it into a funny, and quite thuddy, impact toy.
The pony end seems large but will fit people quite differently. One size doesn't fit all, but with some practice it can work for everyone. My housemate, who is built small, found that it took her dedication, time, and lube to get it inserted, and once in it was tight enough that taking a moment to drum my fingers rapidly beneath her new "big black cock" caused her to make faces of astonishment and buckle at the knees. I, on the other hand, have given birth twice and putting it in is very quick and easy. When I wear my Share it stays well until I self lubricate, at which point it is a major effort to keep it in. If I want to actually use it on someone, my best bet is girl-on-top so I can cross my legs to keep it in. Trying to use it on someone with me on top requires a harness to have any chance at all of success. Another friend is a large woman but has not given birth and has no trouble at all. Yet another is a small girl but has given birth, and she gets by with a pair of men's underwear and the cock end pulled through the flap in front.
That said, wearing my Share about the house to get used to it has led me to understand why men spend so much time with their hand on their penis- it just feels good! I find that when I'm wearing it, I cannot seem to help but play with it idly. I can feel what I do to the outside of the Share on my insides, and I'm assured by friends who have the experience to know that the Share, and its famous counterpart the Feeldoe, are the closest thing to having an organic penis I, as a cis gendered woman, will ever experience. In fact, if you or someone you know is a woman with flexibility issues (as I am), I highly recommend this as a gift. The ability to jerk myself off on "bad movement days" without having to try to reach my vulva and clitoris, much less inside to my g-spot, is a godsend. I also highly recommend having someone give you head while wearing this, the sensation is amazing.
The one downside is that the surface, while pleasing to the touch, collects lint like you would not believe! I, and those I know with one, have learned that no matter how we store it, we should plan a few minutes into our lovemaking schedule to take it in the bathroom and clean it with soap and water just before we play with it. That said, it is amazingly easy to clean and dries quickly. I love that it has no nooks and crannies to collect ick; a quick wash and it is ready to go. Condoms are easy to put on it, easier than most penises actually, since it stays firm no matter what, and I'm assured by those who have ridden it that it is an experience to remember.
It is a pricey toy, but it seems sturdy, and no one I know with one has had any problem that would cause them to stop using it. I'm told a small vibe placed between your Share and your clitoris can add to the fun, but I haven't bothered to try that. Pick a color you love, get a Share, and enjoy. My girlfriend loves to tell me how much she is looking forward to *sharing* time with me, wink wink nudge nudge giggle blush. This is a worthwhile investment that you will not regret.

Experience
Being able to sit back and watch my girlfriend ride me to her orgasm, while my own g-spot orgasm builds, is worth the price of the toy all on its own. Having no previous experience with strap on or strapless dildos, I do find that using this in any position other than "girl on top" results in me giving women the sort of pleasure they might expect with a virgin, but the number of them lining up to help me practice should solve that problem in no time.

can you get off while using this?
-
I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
-
without too much effort on my part?
-
It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.
If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.
Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

Strapless dildos

Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
-
I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
-
It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

Share vs. Feeldoe
-
forkehHow do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?
Thank you. -
Quote: How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness? They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
Thank you. -
I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

Strap-onless strap-ons
-
I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
-
A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well. -

Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.

Thank you for viewing Share – sex toy review page!

Great review! thanks! ^_^
Sorry, to further, my boyfriend have the Feeldoe Violet, and we absolutely love it... But I find that it's not always the easiest to keep in because of the heft of the toy and the shape of the pony. We use it with a Japanese rope harness I made, and that works great. But I've been considering getting one I can use without a harness, that's the whole reason we got a "strapless" strap-on. It's more intimate and feels better for both of us. Would you recommend we spend the extra money and spring for the Share, even though we already have a strapless? Thanks for a wonderful review!
Excellent review. This was always a product I was curious about because there are so many possibilities.
Thanks for the awesome review
@MeliPixie: I love the idea of using a rope harness to hold it in! I may have to find a Shibari practioner to help me implement one.
Though I have not tried the Feeldoe personally, I do know several people who have both, and they consistently recommend the Share as being easier to clean and easier to hold in. So my answer to your question is, yes, if you have the money to spend, by all means get a Share!
If you want, I could send you the directions. They're all pictures, it was actually my first work of Shibari and it was super easy ^_^ Thanks for the recommendation!
I want a Share so badly! *lusts* The black just looks sexy as hell.
Awesome review, darling!
@MeliPixie: That would be fantastic, thank you!
@Pixel Kitten: Thanks, dear.
Looks like a fun thing, good review
Great review, This looks very interesting, Thanks
good review the share seems popular with u and ur friends
I tried the feeldoe with a harness on my girlfriend doggy style. Problem was, that one kept slipping out of me in that position. This one sounds like it may be a better fit. Anyone have experience?
thanks for the review
I'd love to try this, although my boyfriend isn't much interested at this time.
Thanks for the review!
