Use

The Share is designed for harness-free sex; it will work with a harness if that is ones preference. The harness-free feature was the major factor in making this purchase. Tangled straps on a harness can be a mood killer, and who wants to have their mood killed? We use our Share for pegging and have to say that the Share works GREAT, although it can be used by two women, also. The pony end (the end that goes in the woman) does appear to be a bit intimidating at first. A little foreplay and lube makes for easy insertion for us. Once in, the cock end is a bit floppy due to the weight of the toy. The cock end has a semi-realistic head that aids in lining things up and provides nice internal and P-spot stimulation. Penetration can be a little bit tricky due to the floppiness but is easy to overcome once you get used to it. Have lots of lube handy since the lube tends to run off the base due to smooth texture. The shape of the base is designed to stimulate the labia and clit and can be used for solo play, as well.

Material / Texture

The Share is made from what the manufacturer calls 100% medical grade silicone and is available in three colors: pink, purple, and black. Silicone is latex free, non-porous, Phthalates free, and hypo-allergenic, so I assume 100% medical grade means it would be acceptable for some sort of medical use, although the manufacturer states that this a novelty toy and not meant for medical use. We have the pink one and noticed no new toy smell or any other detracting quality. The smooth texture and shaped head provide nice stimulation to the receiver, and the giver is stimulated, as well, by the way it rests against the labia and clit. The overall feel of the Share is firm but flexible and bends at the base of the pony end. The bend is where the shape of the toy changes from horizontal to vertical. The toy should be able to be enjoyed by anyone with enough lube and foreplay.

Design / Shape / Size

The Share was designed with a woman in mind as the wearer. The pony end is shaped to allow the vaginal muscles to grip it and hold it in place. Even though it looks large, it fits comfortably inside once fully inserted. There is about six inches of insertable length on the shaft, and its diameter is slightly under two inches, making it comfortable for most individuals who are on the receiving end. The overall size of the Share should make it an enjoyable experience for most individuals. If you plan to travel with it, it will take about as much room as a pair of shoes does.

Performance

The best part of the Share for us was being able to use it without a harness. Insertion was simple, and once in place there was no hassling with straps and re-positioning of a harness. One thing the Share does do is let you know the state of your PC muscles. It can be used to help exercise them since you can feel how tight of a grip you have on it. The shape of the tip provided him noticeable stimulation compared to other toys we have, and the base and pony provided her both internal and external stimulation with every thrust. The manufacturer states that the Share is designed to "give love and to share passion." The performance that we experienced lives up to that statement.
    • Comfortable

Care and Maintenance

Being made of silicone, the Share should only be used with water based lubricants. Its smooth texture makes clean-up a breeze. Cleaning can be accomplished with mild soap and water, toy cleaners, and disinfected by boiling it for three minutes. The box makes for a convenient storage box and is about the size of a small shoe box.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The box the Share is packaged in makes for a great storage container. The front of the box has two small magnets that hold it closed. When opened, the clear plastic window allows you to see the toy, and the flaps have product descriptions printed in German, French, English, and Spanish. Also included under the toy are two samples of toy fluid and two Fun Factory product brochures, one which has the use and care directions.
    • Good for storage
    • Very informative

Personal comments

The only thing that was a challenge was the pony end would slip out in certain positions. It did, however, slide back in easily and could be held in place with minimal effort. A harness probably would hold it in place, but having to hold it there was not the end of the world and is just the motivation to work on those kegels.

@ Prax so did we, when we decided to make the plunge they went out of stock; fortunately they were out of stock for about two weeks so the wait was not so bad.

@ Zenaida it is an interesting product indeed.

  • can you get off while using this?
    • I would really love to be using this with my partner, at got off at the same time..
    • without too much effort on my part?
    • It really depends on your anatomy and what gets you off.

If it can hit your g-spot, that'll do something, but it varies person-to-person how much. It might hit your clitoris, but again depends on how the toy fits your body - and if you can get off from that kind of stimulation.

Personally, I don't rely on it to get me "all the way" all by itself - because I can't orgasm so far with just g-spot and clitoral touching. Some people certainly can, it just depends. :)

  • Strapless dildos
    • Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
    • I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
    • It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?

      Thank you.

      Thank you.
They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
    • I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

  • Strap-onless strap-ons
    • I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
    • A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well.

Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.
