Smartballs Teneo duo... The exerciser for your lady parts!
Overall its just a great product. The benefits outweigh the tiny problem with the size of the balls. I highly recommend the smartballs for anyone who is looking for kegel exercisers.Published: May 27, 2011
Pros:
Great quality, Easy Care, basically its just awesome
Cons:
Large Size, Small learning curve
The packaging is pretty nice for this. Nothing dirty at all. The box has little magnetic flaps on the pack that open up with the instructions. When you open the package there is an instruction booklet with multiple languages, a brochure with other products, and a sample of their waterbased lube called Toyfluid. The toy itself comes in a little plastic form holder. You just take out the toy and you're ready to go!
Right off the bat you can tell that this is a quality product. The construction of this is excellent. It is silicone (Food-grade material / Latex free / Non-porous / Phthalates free / Hypo-allergenic) and easy to clean. Usually you just rinse with some soap and water and you're good, but you can also run this bad boy through the dishwasher if you want to disinfect it at any time. Its shape is really neat. There are 2 large balls connected by silicone in the middle and a silicone loop at the end for removal. There is also a finger notch on the last ball to help with insertion.
The balls are kind of large and that was intimidating, but that was a big seller for me, because those of you that have seen ben wa balls know they are tiny. I have a retro flexed cervix and I would have issues getting them out if they moved far enough back in my cervix so this is a way better option for me.
So to start I took it out of the package and played with it for a minute. I shook it around and you can feel the little balls inside moving around causing vibrations. The silicone cords are really stretchy and the balls are pretty hard *If you are a small person and you want to try this it may be painful at first. These balls are not small, over an inch in girth*
Never one to be shy about sex toys I jumped right in to testing. I got out the lube packet and coated them thoroughly (and I do mean thoroughly...slather that crap on). ONLY USE WATERBASE LUBE WITH THESE! The lube provided was nothing special. I didn't really like it, but it worked. Insertion was a little tough. You have to push the first in to get to the point that you can use the finger notch. You really have to relax on insertion of these things. Go slowly and take your time and you should be able to get these in.
*Once you get used to the size you may be able to flex your muscles and help pull the balls in while pushing to insert*
Once in they stay put. I couldn't feel the vibrations after insertion, but I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to be that noticeable just for toning of the muscles. I did chores around the house and I even tried jumping jacks. They will stay put unless you want them to move.
Removing was interesting. They are a little tough on removal. Seriously, the lady parts had a death grip on this toy. After I got comfy and relaxed I pulled the string and I pushed (kind of like pushing a kid out) and they came out with not to much fuss. It was a little bit of pain, but nothing seriously terrible. I would imagine after wearing this thing and pulling in and pushing out for a period of time you would be able to seriously rock some worlds with your muscle tone. I would also say that if you enjoy anal stimulation you could wear these vaginally (not anally they aren't made for that and I don't recommend it) and have your partner preform anal and it would be a fun addition to your sex. A quick rinse in some hot water with some toy cleaner and that concluded my toy testing.
All in all it was a fun time. The only downs to this toy would be its size. I would not recommend this for someone who has a small cervix. Other than that this is a rocking product. I highly recommend it if you're looking at kegel exercisers.

This is much easier to use now that I have practiced and played with it. I love these things. They are so great to use alone and great to use with a partner while having anal sex. Just great all around. Cant really complain.

Have you tried these or something similar?

I'm curious to hear about how long (daily and over the long term) you wore them, and what the results were. Could you tell a difference?

My understanding is that they can be worn all day. But when I try to wear any toy for a prolonged period of time (more than 1 hours) I find that I get dry and the toy gets uncomfortable and I have to take it out.
As for telling a difference: I try to remember to do some Kegel exercises a few times a day, and I've noticed a difference since I started. Since these toys are a Kegel exerciser, I assume that if they do what they're meant to do, then yes, you would be able to tell a difference. These are at the top of my wishlist right now. Maybe I'll get them soon and I'll be able to give you an answer myself! -
never tried them. Looks cool though

Choosing The Right Ben Wa Balls For Your Anatomy
-
So, this is a general question for all the women out there. I recently purchased Fun Factory's Smart balls Teneo Duo and they're my first set of ben wa balls. I spent quite some time analyzing the different types of ben wa balls and felt comfortable enough purchasing the ones from Fun Factory after the great reviews. Now that I've gotten them and tried them a few times, I'm sort of disappointed and left wondering if I'm doing something wrong (since many others seem to love them).
For me, the balls are very cumbersome to insert. The product isn't huge by any means. I own vibrators with a larger circumference than the Teneo Duo. Yet, everytime I've struggled to insert them (even with lube). Additionally, I can't feel any vibrations or movement. I know they're not necessarily supposed to be arousing. But, I literally can't feel anything. While, when I hold them in my hand and move them slightly, I can feel the movement without a problem. So. I'm looking for advice from any women out there.
Should I have started with smaller sized ben wa balls? Does the material of the balls make a difference in sensation (metal vs. silicone)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -

I can offer some personal insight into one of your problems, and will take a stab in the dark at the other.

First, as to insertion, my stab in the dark is: are you using lube and inserting the balls one by one? This toy needs lubricant, as its silioone creates a lot of friction and "drag." I swab some lube on the top half of the first ball, and a little around the neck of the second. I also find the finger insertion grip to be useless for the first ball. You have to hold the first ball on its own and pop it in there, then use the finger grip for the second.
As to the vibrations, my personal experience is that I didn't feel them at all when I first started using the smartballs, but the sensation improved as my grip did. I didn't find that the vibrations stimulated involuntary muscle contractions or gave me a passive workout out of the box. I had to use them for a couple of weeks and do a lot of deliberate squeezing before the process got more automatic.
Your mileage may vary, as everyone's anatomy is different, but my advice would be to give it a couple of weeks of daily wear and see whether your opinion changes. I love mine now and feel that they provide a PC muscle workout that is superior to kegel exercises sans equipment.
Hope this helps. -

I've never been impressed by any balls, because I can't feel them. I think I'll take your advice and try to get some regular use out of mine so maybe I can see what all the fuss is about.

What's the difference

Between the Smartballs Teneo duo and the regular Smartballs

Quote: Between the Smartballs Teneo duo and the regular SmartballsThe regular smart balls are smaller in diameter and circumference. So pick which one you think would be more comfortable for you.

The Teneo Duo are also made out of silicone, while the regular Smartballs are made of Elastomed.
