Smartballs Teneo duo - exerciser for vaginal muscles by Fun Factory - review by kneesofbees

I wanted to love this toy, and while I do like it, I think I will need to find another item to help me on my quest become a superwoman vaginal weightlifter. This toy is simple to figure out; insert it and squeeze your vaginal muscles to move it around if you wish.

Alas, while the outer layer is soft, this toy is a bit too hard for me to use easily and I would not want to have a partner insert it for me for that reason. It hurts when it pushes against my pubic bone and other hard bony bits.

It is good for solo play for me, as long as I only insert one of the balls. It is a fun and discreet toy to wear out to the supermarket because it isn't too distracting, but its quiet little rattling will remind you of its presence.

I would highly advise against inserting both balls anally unless you attach the loop very securely to a wide base of some sort. Personally, I would not use it that way on myself because the balls are just too hard for their large size to be comfortable.

The outside texture of the Smart Balls is pleasant and smooth, the usual Fun Factory style. It is made of soft silicone that doesn't seem to attract lint as much as my other silicone toys. Despite the grooves, this toy is easy to clean and doesn't feel bumpy. The stringy loop is surprisingly sturdy, yet very flexible.

The velvety exterior feels very thin, however, and the core is extremely firm. The kind of firm that makes it difficult to stick into my mouth, much less past my pubic bone.

The look of the product is exactly my style. Modern, colorful, fun, and not-resembling-any-body-part. The shape is excellent (two balls; round and big, what's not to like?). The loop is more helpful than a simple string would have been. I think the average user would find the size to be excellent. I have "small equipment" (quote from my gynecologist), so while the size alone is fine for me, the combination of size and extreme firmness turned out to be a bit much.

This is a discreet toy in every sense. It looks a bit like some sort of toy rattle or teething toy, so having your great grandmother see it falling out of your suitcase would not be aggravate her heart condition. It is also very discreet internally. There is a very quiet sound, but SmartBalls are no jingle bells. Wear it out--no one will know it's there unless they put a stethoscope to your abdomen as you move.

The excellent thing about the SmartBalls for me is the way they--or should I say it, since I only insert one--enhance orgasm. While I do feel some pain with both of the balls inside of me, inserting one ball and getting it to sit just right is great. It feels interesting when it is halfway in as well, or when it is being partially removed. Pulling on the loop is fun, too. For me personally, it helps a little with orgasm-delay.

The internal rattle created by the inner balls moving inside the outer balls doesn't really provide sexual stimulation for me, but I find the sensation entertaining and it motivates me to do kegel exercises more. It's a strange feeling, and I am a creature of novelty. If it had a bit more movement, I can imagine it being more sexually stimulating.

I think this toy is great to use while wearing a strap-on, because it gives internal feedback with every thrust by rattling around. Also, for power play/gender play, it would contribute to the sensation of intercourse without the feeling of being a "receiver" because of its dissimilarity to a phallus in form and motion (and come on, they're balls).

This toy is wonderfully simple to clean and store. Soap and water do well, as long and you make sure to pay a little extra attention to the grooves and string. It doesn't seem to collect lint as much as my other silicone toys, either. It's quite small, so it can be stored anywhere. Also, it doesn't just scream "SEX TOY GIANT COCK", so if you accidentally leave it out, no big deal. It looks like a child's plaything.

As all Fun Factory toys, the SmartBalls come in a nice colorful box with a clear window, showing them off in their spherical glory. There is nothing about the box that announces "SEX TOY" to someone who is not aware of kegel balls. It would be fine to store the balls in the original box, but it is just a normal plastic casing, not a nice little box with silk lining or anything. It is also much larger than necessary, so I did not keep it. It would be a fine box to wrap in gift wrap and surprise your girlfriends with.

Aside from solo play, I have worn this toy to the supermarket with my partner and found myself dancing in the aisles to encourage it to rattle. It was less sexually-fun and more "teehee, I am being silly" fun. Very fun, nonetheless.
