The Pure Wand by Njoy is a pound and a half of solid steel dildo. This can be either a good or a bad thing depending on your preference and needs: for those who prefer firm stimulation, it is excellent. Those who want something with a bit of 'give', or who have arthritis in their hands or wrists, should look elsewhere.

The wand has two ends for vaginal or anal use (when going from anal to vaginal, always wash thoroughly.) It can be used for solo masturbation or with a partner-whatever you like. There are two safety precautions that you should keep in mind: one, it cannot be reiterated enough: this is solid and HEAVY. If you try to thrust with it, you can get bruised. It's designed for slight rocking motions only. Second, steel holds heat better than any material I've ever used. When experimenting with temperature play, always test it on your wrist before inserting the toy anywhere in your body.

The Pure Wand is made of 100% medical grade stainless steel; basically the highest grade steel that money can buy. If it's good enough for grandma's hip replacement, it's good enough for a sex toy, right? It goes without saying that there are no weird smells or tastes with this. It also doesn't hold on to odors like some other materials, including high grade silicone, can. As I have already stated several times, it is obviously very firm. I don't want to say this is only for an intermediate/advanced user; it could possibly be for a beginner, but probably not the best choice for a very first toy. One should be somewhat familiar with their preferences before investing in such an expensive toy. For me, I had tried and love glass dildos, so the Pure Wand seemed like a wise purchase to make.

The Pure Wand has a very unique shape, designed specifically to stimulate the g-spot of a woman or the p-spot of a man. I've read it described as a cross-section of a pie plate, or a retro telephone. To me it looks like a crescent, like a half-moon. You can make your own conclusions. The bottom line is it does a very good job at what it's designed to do. You may think that it would be uncomfortable in your vagina or butt, but it's really not, as long as you're adequately turned on, of course. Its shape ensures that your sensitive area will be well stimulated-with very little applied pressure from the user. The fact that it has two usable ends, one at 1" diameter and the other at 1.5" (a difference that is MUCH more considerable than it sounds) makes it pleasurable for almost anyone. I can't imagine anyone finding that the toy is too small for them, but I can see how someone not familiar with firm toys might find even the small end a bit too large. In that case, I would advise them to take it slow, and use some lube if necessary.

Pure Wand is not realistic at all, in terms of looking like a penis. Then again, it's much BETTER than a penis. If anything it resembles something from the Jetsons; very futuristic. I love the look it has. It's discreet in that it doesn't scream 'sex toy!' but at the same time, I wouldn't leave it out for company to see. Then again I'm a very private person and I would die if anyone knew that I use sex toys. As far as travel, because of the sheer weight of it, it's not really practical to lug around. This is one to enjoy at home.

I recommend some external stimulation before inserting the Pure Wand, whether manually (with fingers) or a clitoral vibe. As you may know, the vagina lengthens during arousal, and this will make it more comfortable to insert. I find the toy very easy to use; pretty much the only thing you can do wrong here is to thrust it too hard. Simply insert it a couple of inches or so, or wherever feels comfortable, and gently rock forward and back. You'll know you hit your g-spot when you get a sensation like you have to pee--okay, it's more pleasurable than that, but you get the idea! It's kind of hard to miss your g-spot with this toy. And as I said, nothing does a better job at stimulating it, at least for me, than this toy.

All of N'joys products are insanely easy to care for. The only way you can harm stainless steel is by using a corrosive product on it-and why would you want to do that when soap and water or wipes do just fine? You could even throw this in the dishwasher since there are no components that could get wet and damaged. Any lube is fine with steel: water-based, oil-based, or silicone. You can even use spit. Flexibility is a beautiful thing.

To store, I use the lovely box it came in, pictured below. You can store it any way you like. Unlike glass, it can't be broken, so that's another plus!

Pure Wand arrived in a snazzy black box with shiny lettering. It is encased in a thin white cardboard sleeve, which I threw away. Like all of N'joy's products, tucked in one corner of the box is a handy-dandy pamphlet with care instructions and a lineup of all their other toys. I enjoyed reading about them.

This is a superb toy for anyone interested in G/P-spotting. It is extremely effective at stimulating these areas. It also holds on to heat longer than glass does, making it excellent for temperature play.

One issue that I have with the toy is that it's made in China. For the price point, I feel it should be made somewhere with better labor standards, say North America or Europe.

I have not worked up the courage to use this anally yet-however I really enjoy it vaginally. Warming it up takes it to a whole nother level, and I highly recommend trying that. At first, holding it for extending periods of time made my wrist hurt, but I quickly figured out that holding it with both hands solves that problem. I absolutely love my Pure Wand.
