Devine playchest - storage container by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by beautifulpierced

I have been collecting “My big girl toys” for awhile now and was beginning to need somewhere secret to put them. I have a 3-year-old son and I definitely don’t want him to be getting into them. I saw this Devine Play Chest in pink and just had to have it. It looked so roomy and spacious, beautiful and classic! I couldn’t imagine a more perfect box for me; my favorite colors are pink and black, and this fit me so well.

This Divine play chest is made of faux leather and has an elegant look to it, from its crocodile skin outer finish to its simple black inside lining. Even the small chrome details make this box look absolutely stunning.

This box is quite large and can hold quite a few toys, lubricants, cleaners, or any “gear” you may have laying around that needs a place! The measurements can be found on the Information page. It's about 5 pounds total, so it has some weight to it but not too much.

With this play chest being made of faux leather, it’s very durable and extremely easy to clean. You can simply wipe the outside of this chest with a soft microfiber cloth and some lukewarm water with detergent-free soap. So as not to damage the product you don’t want to submerge it in water. I have yet to figure out how to clean the insides because I haven’t had any sort of spillage in it.

I examined my Devine play chest many times for imperfections and never found one. It even comes with small “feet” on the bottom of it so it doesn’t exactly sit on the floor, which is a great feature to have; it preserves the bottom of the play chest.

Upon opening this play chest I noticed the lock on the front, which was very easy to access and open, easily locked and there was a cute little way to store the key while leaving people clueless as to what it is. The cute and petite little key is hidden on a small chain run through a pink faux leather sleeve which has the Brand name Divine Toys on it. When the chain is tugged from the top, it slides the key inside securely and it's hidden away in its own little space! The key picture shows two keys that are sort of flat-looking, but when I got my Divine Play Chest it only had one key, which was more round and somewhat smaller. When it was finally in my hands and open, I saw a partition that can be easily removed by folding the Velcro ends and lifting. The partition has elastic bands wide enough to hold a bottle of Pink water (water based lubricant). There are two pockets, one in each lid piece. I was excited to fill it with all my goodies. I always clean toys before putting them away in my play chest; glass toys are placed in their bags and put on one side of the partition, and the others get placed on the other side. I like to keep my clitoral massagers in the holders on one side of the lid and my lubricants in the elastic bands on the inside of the partition. This makes for a very neat and tidy storage chest.
