ASS TRO GLIDE
Astroglide is a great lubricant for both beginners and experienced. I have found it to work well. Only complaint is the feeling after it has dried.Published: October 10, 2008

Astroglide is a relatively cheap personal lubricant that can be purchased at most major retailers and pharmacies. Their product is water based which is great when introducing this product to sex toys.
Not having much experience in the field of lubricants I cant vouch for other products or really even compare in that matter Astroglide to others in the market. However I do know one thing. This stuff works!
Any time I need lubricant for anal play this is the product used. The consistency is thick and seems to stay moist and lubricated for as long as I need. The bottle seems to never empty. I have been using it for several months now and not even a quarter of the bottle is gone, so yes it is cheap and yes it will last a long time (Unless of course you go at it 10 times a day).
Enough about the praise of this product and onto the dislikes. One thing that I do not like about this product is the fact that when it dries on your skin it makes you feel oily and is not very pleasant to me. I usually will take a wet washcloth and clean it off afterwards or take a shower to clean the lubricating residue off.
For the price and how long it will last you really cant go too wrong here, I am sure others will debate that this is not the best product and I will probably agree and say "your right!". It may be worth it to find a product that will not feel gross when it dries on your skin... other than that I really don't have any complaint. If you find a better product this is always a good alternative as a backup lube, and can easily be purchased at most stores.
You may find that this product does not work for you, or irritates your skin and there are others out there that are virtually the same that can be used.
For now, Astroglide is what I use.

It still works well although it does leave a nasty feeling afterward. At the least, it does do its job properly of keeping things lubricated. I would maybe find a different brand that has less after feel.

I always used to use different KY ones and the occasional one from different surprise-party type companies, but there was always something about them that I hated. Finally I was introduced to astroglide and haven't used anything else since :D

Astroglide is ok, but I find it doesn't work that well for anal sex. I use Maximus for that, as I am naturally a wet person, and don't really need lube for anything else.

Can you believe there are 98 reviews on Astroglide? I was just browsing through lubes and thought I might find a good one to review, and I saw that it had 98!!! No kidding, check the page! What do you think of this, folks? Are you as surprised as me?

Most likely because reviewers starting out have to review cheaper items first. I'd guess that lubes and massage balms/oils would be many reviewers' first picks since they'd want to buy the stuff anyway. :P

I would say there's a big difference in lubes that you pay a little more for. For instance, Maximus is great for anal play, water-based, and doesn't leave an oily residue or stain sheets. Also, you get about four times as much for only 3 more dollars. Worth it? I think so.
CW your right there isnt much of a price difference, although AG has been working well for me I may give Maximus a try and see how it works...there isnt much of a price difference between the two.
