Astroglide - water based lube by BioFilm - review by TheLittleNympho

This is an okay lube for the first...3 minutes or so. After that, it gets really sticky. It feels gross. It has a decent consistency, however. My boyfriend and I bought this for an anal lube, and it's just horrid for us. I prefer to pair this lube with toys I use strictly for my vagina. This doesn't come out of the toy box very often. I thought it would be at least useful for handjobs, but unfortunately it isn't. It is way too sticky and nasty feeling. I would rather use baby oil for that!

The texture of this lube is pretty good. It has a medium thickness. It slides around EVERYWHERE. I can't get it to stay on my fingers, and that causes a lot of spills on the sheets. It has a neutral feel after first applying, but it becomes disgustingly sticky after some friction is applied to the lubricated area.

You can't smell this lube right off as you begin to use it, but it does leave a faint smell on your fingers after use. I haven't personally tasted it to know what it tastes like, so I can't really comment on that. I'm going to assume that since it isn't flavored, it's not recommended for eating.

When we used this for vaginal use, we had to reapply it 4-5 times for one 30-40 minute session. That's reapplying it every couple minutes because of the overwhelming stickiness. I definitely recommend washing or using a cleaning wipe, as it leaves the skin very sticky. The best thing about this product would only be that it has a decent thickness.
