Like silk, but really it looks like something else. ;)

This will make your solo and partner sex smooth beyond belief. Pleasure in a bottle would be my second choice in naming this product.

This product is silky smooth and lasts forever. It feels and looks a lot like something you might naturally produce minus dryness that can occur along with stickiness. What's nice to is that you have a pump on this bottle so you can really load up and control without having to pick up the bottle every time you want some lubrication.

Granted this will get sticky eventually, but it feels so good you will probably overlook it. This works great for solo sessions and to be honest I prefer using this over spit. Also, if you don't have water to wash it off with, it does come clean with cloth without leaving a really a greasy residue or smell like many other lubes tend to do. It also washes out without much problem or just rubbed out with a towel. That being said, you just add a little bit of spit to the mix when you feel this lube is getting thick and everything gets silk smooth again.

What's interesting is that when using this solo, it has a tendency to splash out of your palm and splatter like your own sperm. I would imagine this would feel great for the ladies too as it is thick, smooth, and lasts for hours on end. And not to forget it does have a fairly neutral scent. I don't see anything in this that makes it bad for toys and if you add it to your anal toys it gives the sensation of a little bit of something something coming from your toy.

As for traveling with the bottle or storing it, make sure to close the pump nozzle and lock it in place because this one has the tendency to leak if you tip it while not in use. When locking the nozzle back down I strongly recommend removing the pump so that you don't have lube wasted as you push it down.
Experience
It was marvelous. Just make sure to use something like the liberator throe or something like that to catch the drippings that will occur with this wet magic.
Follow-up commentary
It's still the best lube short of using natural lube. In some instances though, I'd say it works even better.

Nice review. I think that I will have to pick some of this up, did it stain at all?

It's white, however, it is water soluble. If it gets on anything, a quick rinse with a cloth towel with some water should clean it.

Hmm, I haven't had problems with toys, but it looks like some people in the forum have had problems with some toys. One of the posts refers to "medical grade silicon" as being the safe way to go.

How do you remove the pump?

The nozzle/pump can be unscrewed, and then you turn it counter clockwise or clockwise while pushing the pump down and it will lock in place and shut of any chance of leaking.

Great review. My partner says this is his "hands down" (pun intended, knowing him) favorite lube for "personal time" if you get my drift I love it too, very... well... silky!

  • no good?
    • i get the impression that this is crap......
    • Liquid Silk's not a bad lube, but "crap" or "awesome" depends a lot on what you want out of your lube. Like, do you want one for anal play or vaginal? For shower play? Are you a stickler for healthy ingredients?
    • It wasn't bad, but Alan and Michele have a point. What are you trying to get out of the lube?

  • Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys
    • So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.

However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?

Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else?
    • That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.

Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.

      Anyone else know about this?
    • I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
