Liquid Silk is a high quality water-based lube. It is compatible to use with any toy material and good for use in any couples play. The best use for this lube for me is to use with my silicone dildos as they cannot be used with silicone based lube. This product is great for anyone looking for a nice slick feeling silicone lube to use with their toys or to use with a partner. It is very versatile in that it can be used solo, with toys, for vaginal, or anal sex. The only activity I would not recommend using this product for is oral sex, as it contains parabens that are not safe to consume. (Plus, it tastes awful so you really do not want to anyway!) Hard to say what the best use for this lube is, because it can really do it all!

I am absolutely in love with the texture and feel of Liquid Silk! I have been searching for the perfect water based lube for a while and was slightly hesitant of trying this because of the bad reviews regarding the parabens and it is a little pricey. So glad that I took the leap and tried it because it is everything I was searching for. The texture and feel really mimics "the real thing" the best I think a lubricant possible could. It is not watery, not goopy thick, just the right amount thickness to get the job done and feel amazing. The perfect consistency makes it super easy and comfortable to apply to your toys and/or naughty parts.

If you are sick and tired of icky sticky water based lubes I cannot recommend this enough. I have serious issues with my lubes being too sticky, I cannot stand the feeling of my fingers sticking to my naughty parts. Or even for my naughty parts sticking to my boyfriends naughty parts, that is the worse! I was so excited when I first put some Liquid Silk on my hand and rubbed it around a bit, then let it sit to see if it became sticky. It felt almost like a really thin, light, lotion on my hand rather than a sticky lube.


The 8.45 oz. pump bottle also really drew me into this lube because I love to have easy access to lube by the bedside, and nothing is easier than a pump bottle. The pump bottle functions great and it makes it so much easier to quickly get some lube when need be. No need to struggle with a stupid little pop top lube bottle anymore, what a relief!

To me, this product has a slight smell that kind reminds me on Elmers glue. It is not over powering or disgusting, but if I put the lube on my hand and put it up to my nose to smell it that is what I smell. Otherwise I really do not notice the smell when I am using it normally with toys or during sexy times. I think it is inevitable for lubes to have some sort of smell to them, and I have smelled much worse, so I am not complaining.

Due to the parabens in this lube I would really not recommend using it for any activity in which you will be tasting the lube. I can tell you I have of course got a little in my mouth from touching parts and getting my fingers near my mouth and it does not taste that pleasant. Luckily I don't have much use of using lube for oral sex/any activity that involves consuming it so this is just fine with me.

Liquid Silk has been bar far the longest lasting lube I have tried yet. I have never had to re-apply it for average length solo play or vaginal sex sessions, it has lasted for up to 30 minutes no problem. The only time I found the need to re-apply was for anal sex, but that's a given because so much more lube is needed for anal. In the past I have been uninterested in using lube because of that sticky feeling, all of the re-applying, and the icky sticky cleanup afterwards. There is nothing sexy about being covered in gooey,sticky,smelly, lube and looking forward to nothing but washing it off. Not with Liquid Silk! My lube problems are all solved with this stuff, I fear the lube no more. It feels so much more natural than any lube I have tried, it mimics bodily fluid so much better and makes the whole play session feel natural because of it. After all sexy time is over with I don't feel the need to run to the shower and rinse off, a simple wipe with a baby wipe or even a towel is good for me. It feels a lot more like a mix between bodily fluid and a little lotion than it does a lubricant, and I love it!
