Use

This corset is suitable as lingerie, a sexy top for nights out, or under a blazer or jacket for business-casual events. It can be worn with or without straps and/or garters. This just as easily pairs with stockings and skirt as it does with a pair of jeans or dress pants.

Material

The tag on this says this product is 100% polyester, which puts a damper on the whole "satin and lace" product name. Oh well.



Features

This corset laces up in the back, which can be adjusted once and not necessary for each wear. It also has a hook-and-eye closure in the front which makes it a lot easier than lacing up each time like a "real" corset.



There is also thick black ribbon attached to both sides on the back that goes around the waist and ties into a bow in the front. Because the ribbon is permanently attached to separate sides, it won't get lost or fall off and is easy to tie up. If you are really against the ribbon part, a seam ripper would take care of that--just be careful!

This product also comes with removable straps and garters. They come unattached, in plastic bags that I do use for storing, just to keep everything organized and together. I lose garters all the time, so this helps.



Quality

This corset is a nicer quality than most ones I've bought from Eden before (mostly by DreamGirl). I favor Coquette because they usually have higher quality clothing. The only thing I really wish was different was the boning material. Because it is plastic, it does shape to your body. It isn't horrible for plastic boning, but metal would be amazing. As you can see in the photo below, the corset has shaped to my bust. This product has no set cups, so it will shape to your breasts, which can be nice, but it takes away from the actual shaping of your body after a while.



Cleaning Instructions

The only note about cleaning instructions is to hand-wash this product. I suggest washing by hand with cold water and lingerie wash if you own any. EdenFantasys carries some by DONA here. Make sure to dry this completely before putting it away in a drawer or on a hanger.

I do like this product a whole lot. I do wish it were metal boning instead of plastic, but it's not bad. My only other complaint is that this corset is rather short on me. I'm sure smaller sizes are fine, but those of us with a belly might prefer a longer corset to make sure it's all covered. I find that I wear my skirts higher with this corset, or the corset lower with pants. However, I don't have other complaints, this one's worth keeping.

Still cute, though the boning has molded to my shape quite a bit. I have to try to reshape it by hand, which can be annoying. However, it's not too bad and I still wear and enjoy this corset.
