The G-ki can be used for G-spot/p-spot or dual clitoral/labia/perineum stimulation. The adjustable joints and vibrations can accommodate a broad range of needs. It can be used for thrusting and rocking. It can be used in the shower, in the tub, on a bed. You can use it alone or have a partner use it on you. Whatever you prefer, you'll probably like the G-ki.

The G-ki is made of silicone. I think it's a matte silicone, but it doesn't have quite as much of a drag to it as some of the other toys I have used. I happen to enjoy both textures. The entire toy is pretty firm, but the G-spot end has more squish and give. Silicone is a great material for toys with multiple uses and can be sterilized for sharing.

This is the most innovative toy I have tried. People have different anatomy. There are a lot of us who purchase toys and wind up disappointed because they just didn't work for us, yet they may have been amazing for someone else. While I think that there are still some people who might not enjoy the shapes of the G-ki or the vibrations, it offers a much wider range of options for a very reasonable price than the majority of sex toys.

Did I just say shapes? Yeah. I did.

The G-ki has two joints that you can adjust it with. The shapes range from a soft, broad curve that's great for thrusting to a sharp, J-curve for more intense pressure. It can even be used anally for p-spotting. It's very rare to find a toy that's so versatile. At nine inches long (five of those being insertable), an inch and a half in diameter it's easy to handle. You're going to be holding onto the four non-inserted inches, which fit comfortable in the palm of your hand.

At first, I was not wowed by the vibrations of this toy. It came already charged, but the vibrations seemed pretty weak. Even after a full charging they didn't seem much better. I had read some information about rechargeable toys needing to be charged a few times before the vibrations worked right so I gave my G-ki the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad I did. After about four charges it got very, very intense vibrations.

There are two silver buttons on the toy, a plus and a minus, for controlling the (slightly noisy) vibrations. They're very easy to use. To turn the G-ki on you hold down the plus button for a few seconds. There are five steady vibration settings. The first is pretty strong and they get slightly more intense as you cycle through them. Next is a strong, slow and steady pulsing vibration followed by a much quicker pulsing at the same strength. Then there are three roller coaster settings, low to high, slowly, a little faster and then very quickly. Then at the end there is a very strong, steady vibration. It seems the same as the other steady vibrations in intensity and it's probably just there to let you know you reached the end of the patterns. You can easily cycle through the patterns with the plus button. If you pass one you like just press the minus button and it will cycle you backwards through the settings. To turn off the G-ki just hold down the minus button for a few seconds. All together it seems like there are about ten settings. With the adjustable joints you've got a considerable amount of options to pleasure yourself with.

The G-ki is also rechargeable, so no fumbling around with battery compartments. In fact, you don't have to really fumble with anything because the cord is magnetic. The buttons that I said were silver? They're metal and that's where you charge it. This makes it completely waterproof because there is no need for any holes to plug chargers into. It's sealed all the way around.

The G-ki is innovative and durable, but there are some precautions to take when using it. If you aren't careful you'll void your one-year warranty.

Adjusting it: Make sure you completely press down the buttons on the joints and that they've come back up to lock into place. Don't try to adjust it without pressing down the buttons. You'll break it. There are diagrams to show you how far the G-ki will adjust, so don't try to push it past it's limits.

Cleaning: It's waterproof so you can clean it pretty easily. Use your favorite toy cleaner or mild soap and water. You can sterilize it by using a 10% bleach solution to wipe it down if you intend to share it (between holes and people). Don't boil it or put it in the dishwasher because of the motor. It will break it.

Lubes: Water-based lubes only! It's silicone so it's not going to play well with other silicone lubes.

If you're going to make this kind of investment in a sex toy it's worth it, but be sure to read over the pamphlets and directions first. All that information is very useful.

I was already expecting the pretty package that the G-ki came in. I've always associated French with classy, elegant things and Je Joue did not disappoint me. The G-ki came in a black canvas box with a black satin bow to tie it closed. Inside there is a plastic insert with a cut out shaped to hold the toy in place. Underneath the insert is a section for storing your charger cord and the information about your warranty and how to use the toy. All of the information comes in six different languages, which is always nice.

Like I mentioned before, I wasn't initially impressed with the G-ki. After giving it a few good charges and trying it in several places I grew more fond of it. It has worked very well for me as a dual stimulator. Every time I use it I prefer the strongest curve it can be contorted into.

My absolute favorite way to use it? I like to insert in while it's curved in the J-shape so that it nestles between my labia and vibrates against my clitoris. While it's in I can either straddle my husband or he can lay between my legs, kissing me and grinding against me so that it rocks into my G-spot and puts more pressure on my clit.

We haven't had the opportunity to try this on him anally, yet, but we intend to. For everything else so far it's been a wonderful toy.
