G-Ki - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by Je Joue - review by unfulfilled

G-Ki by Je Joue was designed to allow you to choose between g-spot or simultaneous g-spot and clitoral stimulation due to it’s unique adjustable form. I bought it for the specific purpose of g-spot exploration because I have not been able to find mine and am on the hunt for something that works for my body.

It's ideal for those trying to find their G-spot or those who have a difficult to reach one. It is not intimidating so beginners shouldn't be worried about receiving a penis shaped object.

It could also be used for external stimulation as well to tease and caress your body during foreplay over all of your erogenous zones that enjoy attention and being stimulated.

It is small, elegant, and discreetly designed to be a perfect companion to solo or couple play. I find it easier to use with a partner to help adjust the G-Ki properly for you when exploring your g-spot. This is not the case for me because my husband doesn't want to work with me in finding my spot, so I'm stuck with exploring my body by myself and not achieving desired results. I believe I would have better success if I had a partner helping me guide the toy and adjust it to a position we agree that's stimulating my g-spot, but that is just not the case.

It is not designed for anal insertion and does not have the proper shape and flared base for this. In the safety instructions it mentions to not use on a single area for more than 15 minutes.

It is made out of a smooth, soft, velvety 100% body-safe silicone. Silicone is one of the safest product materials on the market and is considered a 10 on the safety scale because it isn't porous and won't harbor bacteria. It is also made out of food-grade material, is phthalate free, latex free and hypoallergenic. Of all the silicone’s I’ve experienced with different manufactures, I absolutely love Je Joue’s silicone.

It is ideal for those who prefer smooth toys because there is no added texture anywhere. There is a small seam going down the length of G-Ki, but I could not feel it while inserted. There is also raised circles where the head and center adjust, but I couldn’t feel them either. It has a slight silicone odor to it, but does not have a taste.

It comes in four colors to choose from: black, rose, pink, and purple. I chose purple because that’s one of my favorite colors overall and is my favorite color of those choices. It is a rich, deep, feminine purple that is very nice.

I think her size is suitable for beginners and advanced users alike. She is more sophisticated in appearance than your realistic toys that are penis shaped so beginners wouldn't be intimidated by having her. Advanced users will appreciate her silky appearance. Although G-ki isn't a realistic sex-toy it is obvious what her intended use is so if being discreet is important to you, please hide her when not in use.

She is 9 1/2" overall with an insertable length of 5 1/2". The head is 4" around and directlky under the head is 3" around. The base of the handle measures 4 3/4" around.

It fits comfortably in the palm of my hand and is lightweight. It is perfect for travel as it would easily fit in a jacket pocket, purse, bag, etc. I've carried mine in my purse and bag on many occassions and have not had any difficulties with her.

It is considered to be water resistant and safe in the bath, shower, etc. but do not submerge for prolonged periods of time. I have not used mine in the bath because I did use the Mimi this way and soon after Mimi started acting up so I didn't want to chance the same thing happening to G-Ki or Uma. I'm not saying for positive the water caused Mimi to act up, but I want to safeguard my other Je Joue products just in case. Also, in the user manual it mentions don’t use in extreme water temperatures.

It has five vibration levels that increase in intensity and five pulsating vibrations. I’ve never used the pulsating variations because I have never been a fan of patterns and prefer vibrations.

On the top of the G-Ki is the control panel. It has two round silver buttons to control the vibrator; a + and a –. I like these controls much better than the controls on Uma and Mimi. To use, initially hold the + symbol for a few seconds to turn it on and again to increase the vibration intensity. After the fifth vibration level, click + again to cycle through the five pulse patterns. To return to the previous level or pattern you can click the -. I find this feature to be a wonderful addition because I’m not having to go all the way through the choices again to find the level I like if I accidentally bypass it. To turn it off hold the – symbol for a few seconds.

The first five levels are vibrations that increase in intensity. The next five patterns are your pulsation patterns and are best described as follows:

1st pulsation pattern: on-off pulse
2nd pulsation pattern: continuous pulse
3rd pulsation pattern: rollercoaster from low to medium
4th pulsation pattern: a more pronounced drawn out pulse
5th pulsation pattern: medium constant pulse

The vibrations are concentrated at the smaller end, but can be felt throughout the entire toy and delivers powerful stimulation. I would consider the vibrations to be a mix-breed between rumbly and buzzy. They are deep enough to achieve enjoyment out of it, but still considered buzzy because if you hold it for a long period of time does make your hand tingle. However, it does not cause any ill affects to the parts that are being stimulated so that is great because it won’t leave you sore.

The noise level is basically non-existent at the lowest setting which I know is wonderful for those that have roommates or thin walls. The only time it becomes loud is on the highest setting, but can be easily muffled under covers or with background noise.

The good and bad thing about the G-Ki is it is rechargeable using magnetic clips on the top to charge. I mention this as a good and bad aspect of the toy because although it does not require batteries, if it is losing its charge it will go through a cycle where it will not hold the intense steady vibrations that you are on. This can be very annoying when you are close to climax and it starts to cycle up and then down over and over again with the speed and you’re not able to finish. That being said, it will hold its charge for about 1 1/2-2 hours and it takes approximately 2 hours to charge.

You need to charge fully before first use and do not use while charging. To charge, make sure it is aligned properly with the charging dock and the G-Ki’s magnetic buttons. Sometimes the adapter doesn’t fit on there as snuggly as I like and I think that could be improved on. I don’t really consider that a negative about it, but I have to make sure that it is setting on a hard surface instead of dangling from the socket. It will flash red when charging and will turn a solid red when fully charged. The cute addition to this rechargeable toy is they use a heart instead of a standard circle as their way to show it is charging.

It is compatible with water-based lube and you can use warm water and soap to clean or your favorite toy cleaner. Always unplug before cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before reconnecting the charger and plugging it into an outlet.

It can be stored anywhere because of its small size though not touching other silicone toys due to possible break down of the silicone. I wish Je Joue would have included a small storage pouch, but that was not the case. I have mine in my lingerie drawer in a wine bag I purchased on clearance after Christmas and it does not take up much room at all.

The Je Joue G-Ki is presented as a box inside of a box. The original box matches the color of the product and shows a picture of the G-Ki and has information regarding it around the outside of the box. Inside this box is a luxurious and elegant black ribbon-tied gift box that gives the impression that this is indeed going to be one amazing toy. The top has Je Joue written in white with a little heart design above it. The packaging is some of the best I have encountered and would gladly use the second box as a gift box. It could also be used to store a few smaller toys, condoms, wipes, etc. in it for easy access and I would not be ashamed to leave it out on my nightstand. Inside the box, Gi-Ki has a molded area for it to sit so it won’t move around during shipping.

It comes with an owner’s manual, a limited warranty sheet, and safety and instruction pamphlet.

It comes with a one year warranty from the date of original purchase against any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. If this happens, Je Joue will replace it free of charge. As with most warranties, dismantling or tampering with G-Ki automatically invalidates the warranty.

Overall, I consider this to be a high quality toy with superior craftsmanship.

I know a lot of people wonder how it compares with Uma so I’m going to try to do a small comparison of them both. G-Ki has the adjustability factor going for it because it is more likely to hit women’s g-spots than Uma because Uma is not adjustable and only has the small curve in the middle. Neither product hit my g-spot, but I do not have a partner that is willing to cooperate with me and help me with finding my g-spot and I have not been able to find it on my own.

As far as vibration level goes, Uma is stronger than G-Ki. I would consider G-Ki a mild 3 vroom and Uma a full 5 Vroom. Overall, it depends on what feature you are wanting more out of the product on what I would suggest to get. Do you need powerful vibrations to help you climax or do you need something with a more pronounced g-spot curve? They are both great products from the same company so I don't think you can go wrong with getting one or both of them.
