The Ki to Your G

Overall, the G-Ki is a unique toy to add to your toy box. The vibration patterns are nice, the controls aren't awkward, and I like the fact that it is so versatile in its function. The vibrations could be stronger and more centrally located, but it is still a good toy.

Use

Je Joue's G-Ki is a G-spot vibrator meant for vaginal penetration. It is designed to fit "every" body by having adjustable curvature settings so that the head will hit your G-spot. There are two points on this toy that bend: the tip and the center. Because of the curvature settings, it can also be set so that it hits both your G-spot and clit (if your anatomy is just right). It can also be used externally on the clit or other erogenous zones for stimulation.

Although this can be used for thrusting, I've found that it works better to gently move around in a non-thrusting manner. Finding your G-spot is the goal of this toy, so slow, comfortable movements are recommended if it is bent. If you don't have it bent at the center, then I think it would be more comfortable for thrusting.

I think this would work with a partner during oral, or if it was straightened out for having a partner thrust it into you.

G-Ki does not have a flared enough base for anal use, so I don't recommend trying that out.

Material / Texture

The G-Ki is made of sleek, smooth silicone. Silicone is considered a 10 on the EF Material Safety Guide because it is food-grade material, hypoallergenic, latex-free, non-porous, and phthalates-free. The silicone used on this has a slight drag and collects lint, pet fur, etc. Be sure to thoroughly wipe it down before and after use, and keep in a bag to avoid it collecting too much lint!

I was disappointed to find a noticeable seam that runs down the center lengthwise. It is visible without closely examining it, and you can feel it as you run your fingers along the toy. I could not feel it during use, though.

Because of the drag, you may wish to use a bit of water-based lubricant to make it easier to slide in.

There is no texture to this toy, although the buttons for adjusting the curvature are raised and may be noticeable.

I'd recommend this to both beginners and advanced users alike.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the G-Ki is very imaginative in the idea of what it was designed to do: stimulate everyone's G-spot, regardless of anatomy. The curvature settings are something I've not seen before with a toy, so it is definitely unique. The G-Ki is extremely versatile due to the curvature settings, which sets it apart from other G-spot toys on the market. The curvature settings allow for it to adjust to your body.

I find the size to be comfortable. The head is a bit larger than the shaft, and the handle is perfectly sized for my small hands. It is approximately 9" long, though only 5" is actually insertable. The diameter is 1.5", which tends to be just right for me. Size queens and advanced users may find this on the small size, girth-wise, but beginners won't be intimidated by it.

This can be used with a partner or solo!

Thankfully the G-Ki is fairly quiet, and the sounds aren't going to attract much attention beneath a blanket.

I'm really not sure if I would say this toy is discreet or not. At a glance, if you didn't know what it was, someone might wonder "what is that thing?" However, I wouldn't leave it out for someone to catch a glimpse to begin with.

Functions / Performance / Controls

To power on/off the G-Ki, there are two buttons located on the handle.

The + sign turns it on when held down for 3 seconds. The - sign turns it off, also when held down for 3 seconds. There are 5 speeds of basic, buzzy vibrations, plus 5 patterns of vibrations. You can either use the + or - sign to cycle through them all after one another, or the buttons will take you back and forth between patterns. Although the vibrations are decently strong, they are not central in one area. I wish that they were more centered at the tip since it is a G-spot toy.

To adjust the curvature of the G-Ki, there is a button located about halfway on the vibrator for the center adjustment, and one about 3/4" from the tip for adjusting the head.

Care and Maintenance

Because the G-Ki is made of silicone, it is extremely easy to care for. Silicone can be cleaned with soap and water, toy cleaner, or washed with a 10% bleach mixture. Although this is waterproof, I'd avoid boiling it or sticking it in the dishwasher - better safe than sorry!

Do not use silicone lubricant with the G-Ki, as it will damage your toy and you'll be out a pretty penny. Instead use your favorite water-based lubricant, and reapply as needed.

There is a 1-year warranty with the G-Ki.

To store it, I keep my G-Ki in a lint free bag. It does not come with a bag, so you'll have to find your own.

Personal comments

I really like the idea of the G-Ki. I was really excited to see it on sale a couple months back, and just had to pick it up. I've used it a few times now, but it hasn't replaced any of my regular "go-to" vibrators. I'd like for it to have more concentrated vibrations at the tip since it is a G-spot vibrator.

It would also be nice if it came with a storage bag.

The thing I dislike most about the G-Ki is the charging method. The charger is magnetic and must attach just right over the + and - buttons, and the magnet is not strong enough to hold it there if even ever so lightly bumped.
