Heels are a porn pet hate for me! Especially when every other bit of clothing is taken off both partners but they are then trying not to get stabbed by stiletto heels as they change positions.
Socks or flat shoes don't bother me though, knee high socks can add to it.

My wife HATED when I wore socks to bed, so I stopped doing it a long time ago. I don't like to see guys wearing just socks in porn. It always looks tacky.

I'd prefer bare feet, but socks don't bug me assuming they're reasonably clean. Shoes just look cumbersome, though (and I'm including high heels and other "sexy" shoes in that). Plain ol' nude shots in shoes are one thing, but sex in shoes seems odd. The exception, of course, is a scenario where the pants don't come all the way off. So basically half-panted and shod is okay, naked and shod is not.
