Lately I've been seeing lots of spitting in each other's mouths and rough hair pulling. I don't like it at all and feel it has no business in porn. It bothers me. How do you feel about it?

I absolutely hate it and I try to avoid, however if the performers are willing to do it and other people enjoy watching it, it's their business. I only wish it was listed somewhere on the sleeve like oral, anal, girl-girl, and other acts are so I could avoid a title that has it, or at least be prepared for its presence.

Porn is on the edge and over the top by definition. Saying something consensual "has no place in porn" isn't going to fly. Some people LIKE this stuff (I don't personally, but I don't take it personally.)
Porn will always push the envelope and you can only hope to find stuff you like, by choosing studios and models who do the kind of porn you like.
Anything consensual "belongs" in one form of porn or an other. Consent is really the only boundary. And a LOT of porn pushes that boundary with Ravishment fantasies etc. And a LOT of people, myself included like that stuff.
If we start making rules about what consensual acts should "belong" in porn, it's all over and we'll be left with nothing but soft core garbage.
Mileage.

I'm not a fan!

THIS. I'd be fine with them putting those things on the cover so people who don't want to see it won't buy it, but to say it "has no business in porn" is ridiculous. I've seen much more violent things in porn, all consensual of course.
I also happen to like hair pulling and occasional spitting. I don't want flowery porn any more than I want flowery sex.

I also like it. As long as it's consensual, it's fine by me.

I enjoy consensual rough sex so I also enjoy watching consensual rough sex in porn. I like how some producers have interviews before and after the scene that brings up boundaries, safe words, enthusiastic consent, etc. You get to see that everyone involved is excited about and fully understands what is going to happen and you also get some trigger warnings so you can opt out of any scenes with activities that bother you.

I agree with a lot of what was already said. I am one of those people who is turned on by violence in porn, but, as long as it is consensual I don't see the harm.

dont watch it then. there are different types of porn. Many woman like to be dominated and well as men. Some people like to be tied up smacked and spit on..its there preference. I like big butts and I watch porn with big booty woman because it my preference sometimes I like watching gag videos where girls deepthroat and gag. if you dont like it dont watch it. Also Im against rape and beating on people but if its the way it turns them on then i say go for it as long as both are enjoying it.

I don't care for some of it, though I do like rough sex, so rough sex scenes between actors who seem to be ENJOYING it, are fine for me. If there's something I don't like in porn though, I avoid it. There's plenty of variety out there. Some people like softcore, some people like hardcore. Some people like BDSM, other people are freaked out by it. Some people are into adult infants, and for the life of me, I can't understand why. So, I'm not the audience for that type of porn. It's all about preference.
I once, out of curiosity, took a peek at rape porn. At the time, I was seeing a guy who would tell me that next time he we were together, he was going to "rape" me. Of course, he didn't actually rape me--it was something that he said that turned him on. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. Also, rape, actual real life rape, scares the shit out of me. It scares women in general of course, but sometimes I wonder if I could deal with it if it ever happened to me. I look away if there's a rape scene in a movie, even if it's brief, only implied, or not all that graphic. So, I was intrigued enough to see if I could confront it, and watch a hardcore scene. It REALLY bothered me. Like, it haunted me. I couldn't watch more than a few seconds of it at a time, and even then, I only managed to view about five minutes of it. I wish I hadn't. But you know what? I decided to do it of my own free will, and now I know for sure that I could never enjoy anything like that. I like kink, I like being submissive, and I like rough sex...but seeing depictions of lack of consent, of people crying and traumatized, trying to get away...really upsets me. This one looked realistic enough to make me feel sick to my stomach. Then I went and read the comments that people who had enjoyed it posted. I felt even worse. I can accept that people have dark fantasies, and many of them can differentiate between fantasy and reality and would never act on it. I still don't want to see it, hear about it, or think about it.
So I avoid that kind of porn. What else can you do? Porn can range from tame to extreme. It always has and always will, because there's an audience for every kind of porn you can think of. As long as nobody is really getting hurt, everything is consensual, non-coercive, doesn't involve unwilling participants, children or animals...it will always have "business" in being in porn. Just move along when something bothers you. There's nothing else for it, I'm afraid.

Not a fan of spitting. But I like hair-pulling and choking and simulated rape in my sex and I like it in my porn.

It's not for me, but whatever floats your boat.

I don't mind the hair grabbing, the spit at times as made me go eeuu but I am not into violence. Blood, red marks and black and blues are a turn off for me.
