It does increase my tolerance but there wasn't an answer that suited me. I don't ENJOY the pain, but I can handle a bit more so my guy can do things to me he couldn't otherwise.

I can endure more, but I don't always want to.

Not exactly a masochist, honestly.

It does increase my tolerance, hell just rubbing my clitoris increases my pain tolerance because I'm otherwise distracted and feeling good. I love to have pain inflicted on me while being rubbed clitorally or cumming.

Yes, to a point. Sharp pain will usually snap me out of the sexy haze, but other things that are more a slow build are fine.

Yep, I think it's rather neat.

Hrm, I think my pain tolerance goes up with extreme arousal in general, not just orgasm. If someone just ran up to me right now & bit me not-too-hard on the neck, I'd say "Ow." If someone did it harder-than-that in a nice sexual situation, I'd say "More." Part of that my be due to my own psychological quirks, but some of it is definitely physical.

I wasn't sure which option to pick. I apparently can handle more pain during/after orgasm, but I'm not into pain. Orgasm is great for headaches, muscle aches, sore tendons, etc. My mate also insists that I react to having my nipples manhandled close to orgasm, but I'm completely out of it at that point.

I think so. I know being turned on helps my pain tolerance a lot too.
Whenever we have anal, usually it hurts until I get close to cumming, then I don't feel the pain as much.

Can't remember where I read it, but clitoral stimulation can give up to 50% pain tolerance while orgasm can give up to 100% for a few short moments.

i can endure it more easily, but for me more pain takes away from the orgasm.

I definitely handle pain better during/right before an orgasm. After, I get way too sensitive, and everything hurts more or worse!

It does increase my tolerance. For example my nipples are usually excruciatingly sensitive. When I have an orgasm I can tolerate really hard pinching which would otherwise make me cry.

I'm not exactly sure as I haven't been given pain during orgasm, but I'd prefer not to

Yep! But not a ton. It does increase my pain tolerance quite a bit though. I often have migraines like tonight and when we're doing... our thing (lol) it'll subside, but boy when we're done it's back with a vegence! Tonight called for a BC powder! Lol. Strange how it works.

Arousal in general, not just orgasm, helps the brain tolerate pain. A little stroking between the torture goes a really long way.

I am not into pain, but anyway, the entire question is based on something which IS established medical (anesthesia) science. One is that the brain can "overload" with different signals, and this blocks any one signal from having as much "influence", which is why, when giving a shot, or staring an IV, another individual simply rubbing the arm higher then the poke, can reduce the pain, by overloading the nerve pathways with other signals.

Also, during orgasms, you are having a rush of endorphins and other neuro-active chemicals that create GOOD feelings, and this can also circumvent the perception of pain.

However, despite all this, I would NOT attempt to use Orgasms as a substitute for real pain medication when having tooth extraction or sutures placed. Just don't think it would provide optimal pain control.....

Oh my God, yes. A simple hand spanking before I come is nothing but pleasure. Afterwards? I squirm and whimper. My pain tolerance is huge when I'm turned on or during orgasm. I often wake up and look at my various marks in surprise.
