My partner and I attend kink events fairly regularly, including play parties. We generally just socialize and discuss techniques, though. We're considering starting to play in public, but not sure how to proceed. Doing a scene at a party is a whole different beast than in the cozy confines of home. It's a lot like stage fright. What kind of play would you guys suggest to start with? Any other tips?

I've only played in front of very small groups thus far, but I've heard that it's best to plan a public scene in advance and to only do scenes similar to those you've done before. Not sure how good this advice it, but it seems pretty sound.
