Looking around at all these gorgeous collars here at Eden and abroad has really got me wanting one. I'm single, unowned, and yet I would still really love a nice leather collar.

I'm curious how you purchase or wear collars within and outside of a relationship.

I own a leather collar with a D ring attatched. It wasn't the most expensive one mind you. I think I paid around $45 for it. I wear it to play in the bedroom but not really 24/7 or anything like that. That is why I chose other.

Mine is all past tense because I'm not in a relationship right now.

I used to have a leather collar with a D ring that I wore all the time, then I recollared with a metal one that I wore all the time when I got a new job and needed more discretion.

Now, my neck is bare...

I do not wear a collar, of course. But I'll answer for my girl.

At this time, we have a multitude of collars for play or for when I feel like putting them on her. But we don't have a permanent one. She's slightly scared of them, so I'm warming her up to the idea.

I have a couple collars that I made myself that are primarily used in the bedroom. One is made from an old, plain belt I had; I don't use that one very much anymore because I accidently made it a little tight and not really adjustable. I plan on somehow making it just a little bigger so that it's not so tight. I use my second, more recently made one more, a collar made from a length of wide, velvety ribbon. I actually got the measurements right on that one and it's very comfortable. Both have a "D" and "O" ring on them in the front.

I'm getting ready for a job interview right now, but when I get back home later on, I'll see about maybe posting a picture of the second one, since the first collar is over at Synthetik's house.

I know that it may sound odd that I made my own collars (and that I've made other things like my old breathable ball gag and my first flogger), but I have to say, nothing is better than making something and working hard, and showing/giving it your partner who then uses it on you

Daddy and I use all kinds of collars during play but I also wear a chainmail bracelet that is locked around my wrist at all times as more of an emotional collar to remind me of Daddy and our relationship dynamic and commitment. We are both teachers so wearing a big ol' leather collar 24/7 might get me some looks. The bracelet is discreet and beautiful.... not that I haven't drooled over those Rings of Steel lockable collars.

Persephone Nightmare- I made one of my collars too! I wove it out of the first rope Daddy ever used to tie me up. You are very correct about how great it feels to use something you made yourself! :0

I don't have a collar and I'm not in a relationship so I don't really have any reason to wear one, but I've always liked the way they looked. I wouldn't at all be opposed to wearing on during play (with someone I viewed as worthy to dominate me which isn't really all that likely) or as a fashion accessory all the time because I think they're pretty

I wouldn't mind having a collar on someone else, either...

Thanks HisLittleGirl Aww, that's sweet, how you made it out of the first rope your Daddy tied you up with, that makes it even more special I don't usually wear any of my collars outside of play (unless it's to the event Synthetik DJs at) but I have a sort of promise ring that not only is, well, because we're engaged, but it's sort of my "emotional collar" too (or at least I feel it is).

Oh, trust me, I've drooled over many a locking collar, lol (Especially the black "Phantom" Eternity Collars, though I don't like that the higher the circumference of the collar, they use a thicker gauge of metal, I'd rather mine be a thin gauge and somewhat roomy if I ever get one. But I do *love* that they're black if I could find one that's black, maybe about 18-20inches in circumference and a thickness of 5/16", then I may have to go and show it to Synthetik, lol)

We don't have one yet, but I intend to make it one of my next purchases on EF. I've been getting into bondage play more and more, and while the idea of a collar didn't appeal to me all that much, say, a year ago.. it does now! I wouldn't wear it 24/7, because my man and I don't have a full blown D/s relationship. I would consider wearing one out on occasion though, as long as it was nice enough.

Now I'm starting to think about all the gorgeous collars on here... *sigh*

I have a Eternity collar I wear constantly when out, I also have leather collars I wear at home majority of time. So I have one for when working and public times and some for them with my master.

I personally do not have or wear one, which is why I chose 'other'. This being the case I do however have a partner who wears a collar 24/7. Before being with me he wore his own collars all the time, and once we were together a while I bought him a custom one to wear.

Oddly enough both of my guys refuse to allow me to wear a collar. It makes Sigel feel like I am expecting something from himthat he isn't willing to give and it just makes Arch angry to see me act submissive in public.

Darn it! I wish I was able to change my answer now, lol.

I just got a locking steel collar a few days ago! It's not an Eternity Collar, it's from a site Ring Of Steel and it is so beautiful!!! I almost cried (in a good way) when I saw it.

Mr Vad and his wife Ibi are so friendly and nice, he answered the questions I had and did such a great job making it; and she wrapped the collar so neatly and had it shipped quickly . I'm proud to wear it around my neck The style of mine is called a 1/4 inch Stealth Collar and it looks like a necklace since I hung my Moebius pendant on it and it doesn't catch and pull my hair either since it's practically seamless.

And I got Synthetik a matching Key Pendant that he can wear so it can be unlocked (though I keep a spare key in my wallet and one beside my bed just in case of an emergency) I have yet to see him without it since it came in the mail

I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to sound like an advertisement, but I am just so happy with it and the craftsmanship is amazing, I can't help but dote on it. I'd shout it from the mountaintops were it not for the fact that people would run from me like the plague for it, lol

I've had a steel collar locked around my neck pretty much constantly for the past four years. The only exceptions have been medical procedures, court visits, and plane trips.

M often has me wear a leather collar around the house, too. As well as leather wrist and ankle cuffs.

Lmao, Thank you I literally teared up when Synthetik collared me. Though I have quite a story about the actual collaring itself, lol: link (I think it's funny, lol, but then again, I have an odd sense of humor)

I love wearing it, and knowing it's there It is just as special and important to me as my engagement ring. I don't take it off (the only time I did was to put my Moebius pendant on it, and even then Synthetik said I could. And he said I could if it needed cleaning or something)

But anyway, I wear it to work (at a southern Department Store, called Belk), around family, and just everywhere and no one knows that it's a collar Though, if someone who is "in the know" comes in, they'll probably know what it actually is, but even then, it won't be an issue
