Movies and tv shows I watched as a kid, mostly.
I guess they sort of "planted the seed" and over the years I dabbled a bit here and a bit there, by the time I was 9 I knew I liked how it felt to be tied up. ^_^

That's a complicated question. My first exposure to kink was with my first real boyfriend, but I credit my current girlfriend to introducing me to the lifestyle. When I was dating my first boyfriend, I had no idea what I liked. I presented myself as a domme because I thought that was what he wanted. It wasn't a very pleasant experience. Later, I dated another guy who was a top, and he made me realize that I wanted to be dominated. However, he ended up being less-than-respectful of things like consent and boundaries, so my relationship with him almost turned me off from BDSM entirely. Eventually, I figured out that I was gay (I'd previously thought I was bisexual), started seeing my girlfriend, found out she was a top, and am now living in seventh heaven.
