Play piercings are "temporary" piercings, never meant to be fitted with jewelry. These piercings are often done with extremely thin-gauge needles, sometimes in gorgeous patterns. They do not scar, as the needles are extremely sharp. People enjoy them for the incredible adrenaline rush.

Absolutely. I'd want to be super sure everything's sterile, though. I know some people who are self-identified pain sluts who love that stuff and order loads of needles.

I've gotten play piercings before the experience wasn't too remarkable so I said it wasn't for me. It wasn't bad but just so-so.

Any skin-breaking is a no no for me! I applaud those who are into it, but this is definitely too hardcore for my personal tastes, haha. I'm a wimp when it comes to pain! I only like specific painful things

I bought piercing needles to try this, both my partner on me and me on my partner. However, it makes me sick, and I can't do it. He won't do it on me yet either because he knows I'm not ready (needle sensitivity to extremes). But we want to try.
