My wife and I have been shopping for her next harness. We love our Joque, but sometimes she wants something a little more elegant. We also want a harness compatible with larger toys. After seeing the Minx, we're 95% settled on this beautiful harness.
BUT--we can't decide on which one to get! Pink candy doesn't appeal to either of us, but both of us love the Black and Cherry versions. As much as we'd like to, we can't afford to get both.
So...we thought we'd see what the Eden community thinks. Which do YOU like better, the Black Minx or the Cherry Mnx?

Black, but I always love black. Plus it'll go with a range of colors in dildos where the red might contrast funny with some.

This has helped us realize that we're both leaning towards...red! I call it cherry actually, b/c we have the vegan jaguar in red and it's definitely a very different color.
My wife said, "Why does everyone like black? Black is so...basic! And the cherry is just so rich and delicious..." Not an exact quote, but she found herself defending cherry--we both did--and that's how we figured out that we were leaning that way. If everyone had said cherry, we'd have said "See, I told you so!"
Don't you just love the psychology of decision making?

I have the cherry, and it is ridiculously unique. Every line has black, but only Aslan has cherry. It is unique and looks f**^&ing amazing with black toys. I highly recommend it!

The only exceptions are a pink-tinted glass dildo and the Feeldoe More, which is red (my wife doesn't want to use it anyway). We think almost all of our dildos will look better against the cherry than they would against black.

We do have two harnessses: a Joque which works beautifully for us, as well as a nylon Rachel's harness, which was our first harness.
Both of us are kind of tired of black, especially my wife, although it is classic and does go with everything.
But I do appreciate your perspective and, if our toys were multiple non-realistic colors, I'm pretty sure we'd go with black.

I don't like all black either. I'm very pale, so black washes me out. Whenever I can, I lean toward the red option if red and black are my only choices, but I love to go for option C if there is one.
I tend to build a little of both red and black in my collection. Since you can't afford both harnesses, how about (as others have mentioned) coordinating the toys you will use together?
And definitely, if you've realized you really want the cherry one, go for it! You don't *have* to do anything just because you like BDSM, or because you claim any other label.

Black is probably more multipurpose - compatible with more dildo colors! - but I've gotta say I LOVE the red on its own. Color-coordinate your dildos with it maybe? ;P

I think the red would go with most dildos... I've got a lot of the tantus lines - purple - and I think that even the purple would look hot with that red leather!

depends on your skin. If your very lighter skinned I find black to be great. Red is nice but only with some skin tones in my opinion.
