So I'm thinking about buying some cuffs to go with the spreader bar I plan on making this weekend (thanks for that post LaUr3n!). What are everybody's favorites, and why? I know I'm not mixing like products here, I'm planning on getting a set of both ankle and wrist cuffs. If anybody has suggestions that didn't make the list, please let me know.

I'm interested to know what people think of these different cuffs, or if there are issues anyone has experienced with these cuffs. I'm totally new to this sort of bondage play, so I'm trying to get a feel for what's out there and what people like.

A big question would be how strictly you want the bonded (bondee?) to be restrained. I love my sportscuffs, but they are for casual play--they wouldn't last with more intense play and are easy to get out of. I can't speak for the other cuffs, but given the price bracket, they probably won't last too long or offer the same security as the jaguars.

I definitely wouldn't want anything that would be easy to escape from, as it seems hardly worth the purchase if the "restraint" is merely an illusion. Are the jaguars the best choice for really restraining your partner, or is there something even more effective on the market?

I would not get the Diamond cuffs at all. It's not made well and it'll disappoint you. The Jaguar cuffs are going to be your best bet.

So far I've only used the Sportcuffs. They work OK, but the jaguar cuffs look a lot better.

Jaguar cuffs are super well made, will last a lifetime, and can be easily used as locking restraints. Go for the jaguar if you will be using them for more than light play.
