Collars.

Over the past few months I've been looking at the BDSM stuff that EF offers. Some of it intrigues me, and some of it just plain scares me-like the medical devices.. Anyway, I was thinking about the collars, and thought I might like to wear one during sex with my husband (I can just see him rolling his eyes at it. Oh well.) And I had a question. Are they functional at all, or are they just for looks? I noticed some of them have rings attached to them--can they be used for tying up? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm genuinely curious. TIA for your replies!

It depends on the collar, and it also depends on what kind of use you're looking to get out of it. The collars that fasten with snaps are generally more decorative. Those that buckle tend to be designed more for actual use. EF has a wide enough variety that if you tell us a bit about what kind of use you'd like to get out of it, someone can probably help you find one that suits your needs

Hmm.. Well, aesthetically, I like the ones that buckle because they look more "hardcore." How exactly are they used? I'm trying to imagine how I could be tied up with it. Not that my husband would go for that..

Velcro can be surprisingly strong, it will allow you to struggle and still stay put. Bucles are nice, I would recommend something with a basic lock so you cant escape too easily. Talk to your husband, he may surprise you. What is the worst that happens? Fur lined collars, I find to be itchy, if you are going for leather try and find a nice soft looking leather, or else it can irritate the skin, and have fun!
