I would start with sportcuffs. they are good quality for pretty cheap. It will give you a good idea if you are really into bondage or not before spending 100's for leather gear. I have several reviews up for sportcuffs products, you should give them a read.

Agree that sportscuffs are nice. You can also try blindfolds for the more sensual aspects and a paddle for the impact part
