Leather unfortunately has a lot of maintenance, aside from that it's not a breathable material and just wouldn't be that comfortable

Ehh, wouldn't be worth it. It'd be expensive, I don't think it'd be all that comfortable to sleep on (especially during hot weather), and it'd be hard to clean...

If I had a million dollars, maybe. Otherwise it is just too much hassle to clean. I love my leather jacket and I want lots of leather toys, but the care of even those gives me pause at times.
