Depends on what you use as the wrappings, it seems the plastic wrap/some form of tape combo is pretty popular with the two people I've seen on FetLife that are into it (to be fair though, I don't really seek out new people that aren't local...for all I know it could be a fairly common fetish).
Something like vet wrap, a sleepsack made from fabric like canvas, or ace bandages seem like they would breathe more but possibly take longer to apply, I've heard that the dom will often give the sub a drink of water at certain intervals while they're wrapped though.
