How difficult is it to get into rope bondage? With cuffs it is as easy as slapping them on, but ropes seem more complex.

It depends on how elaborate you want to be. If you're wanting to do full-on shibari or fusion harnesses or if you're looking for something decorative and want to incorporate basket-weaving techniques for sheer looks, then it can get very complex. If all you want is to tie someone up, though, that isn't too hard to learn. Just remember- safety first!
