I'm a newbie (who hasn't actually done anything but I'm curious) so I thought it might be neat to know what people first used in the world of BDSM.
What toy/equipment/etc. did you first use when you introduced yourself to BDSM?

Mulder tied my wrists with my shirt one time ... that pretty much set me on the path. The first real BDSM item I bought was a pair of pink buckled wrist restraints (EF doesn't carry them anymore). It's been go since, and Master appreciates the photo-shoots with what I have, though he's on a gag kick at the moment.

My partner already had a bag full of BDSM toys when I first met him, but he did start with rope for me and tended to stay away from the more intense pieces like canes and such.
