Depends. I've never seen an amazing implement that was ugly. But perhaps I just find most to be rather attractive in their own way.

No, because high-quality BDSM stuff is pretty expensive, and I won't spend that much money on something I don't think is aesthetically appealing. Something that's just plain or meh would be fine, but not something I actually think is ugly.

It depends on the functionality. But yes, I will buy something ugly if it's great. My Hitachi is butt-ugly and out-dated looking, but it's easily my favorite toy I have ever owned, and gets used on a near-daily basis.

I haven't found a strictly bdsm toy of good quality (that fits in with my kinks) that I find ugly though. Maybe when I set out to purchase an electro set.
